Someone recently said that I look like a doll.
And that I am fashionable.
Me, with my jagged bangs and frequent sohai expressions??
I think my sisters look more like dolls lor.
Jing who adorns herself in pink whenever she could. :P
And Teeny! Who looks like a doll too. Ultraman doll WTF.
Speaking of compliments, I got 'picked-up' recently!!
Me: Eh what the hell, I think I just got picked up just now!!
Victoria and Smalls: Good what!! Flattering to be picked up!
Me: I got picked up by a security guard.

I was waiting for my friends in the Curve concierge area, and halfway texting, I saw from the corner of my eye that there was a security guard shiftily walking towards me. He would walk two steps, then pretend to look away, then start walking into my direction again. Obviously, I felt DAMN pissed la, 'cause I thought he thinks that I am a shady character and wants to ask me to leave the Curve!!! So I was throwing him dirty looks even as he advanced towards me. And before I knew it, he was right next to me, and amidst shifting on his foot, he told me ,"good afternoon", rather apprehensively.
I was like, "Huh?" 'cause I was expecting any moment now, a barricade of security guards will appear by my side to escort me out of the mall wtf.
And he repeated again, even more unsure this time, "good afternoon!"
Again, I had a blank look on my face, really confused by then. And he asked me "Do you speak English?"
By then, I was really pissed already, 'cause I was thinking that he thinks I am a pendatang asing or what and wants to arrest me, so rather haughtily I replied "Of course!!!"
He was shocked, "You local???
I though you're Korean or Japanese!"
Then proceeds to give me a shy smile WTF. Then he went on some more, "Betul, you look like Japanese!"
-_______________-
And then, he told me, "You have pretty...
....eyebrows."
By then, I was running out of the mall already. T___T
Why I get approached by this type of people wan!
And now to think of it, when I was in Melbourne, I always get flirtatious comments from construction workers outside of Jac's apartment, and truck drivers, and a plumber working at the side of the road.
Am I destined to be picked up by blue-collared people wtf. T_________T
And oh!!! My curls in my previous entry are temporary ones. :P
Yen, my hairstylist gave me free-of-charge temporary curls, wheee.
My hair still poker straight now! Boring la, sigh.

i know you might have gotten alot of these questions already (but im lazy to screen through all your comment boxes mar....)
out of curiosity...
do u /sisters/frens wear any shorts when wearing micro dress?
tqtq...
coz im looking for the perfect, seemless shorts as well..
its better to picked up by blue collars than by rempits or lala's right. -.-"
at least blue collars got REAL job and they protect our country wtf.
eh you look very good in the last pic! arms so thin /boo and dress from f21 isit?
vsst: HAHHAHAHHAHA you worry for us is it!! Err, I usually wear shorts if the dress is micro la! I can't say the same for jing wtf. But yea, I have this pair of flat front white shorts which I usually throw on under shorter dresses, just in case. I also have another pair of cotton black shorts (tight-ish) which I wear sometimes too-- depending on the outfit la, black or white. :P Actually right, I would totally recommend getting those short cycling shorts, you know those tight boy-cut seamless shorts? I think it's best la to wear under micro dresses-- but I am too broke to get one now. :D
alea: Hahahaha does it mean you get picked up by rempits and lalas! :P Haihhh you won't say the same if a construction worker comes to you and say "How YOU doing?" ala Joey from Friends and proceed to call you sexy. T___T Quite traumatizing. T___T
suet li: Thin mehhh! I thought i looked stumpy in the pic. T___T And the dress is a vintage dress! :)
Ewww... security guard. You should have taken note of his name and lodge a complaint!
isn't every compliment from whoever it might be, gold?
lol well bout ur security guard issue.. just think it in a way that yet another guy thinks u're hot and thus trying to chat u up?
you are fashionable! admittedly i don't always love your style (high waisted shorts lol) but you look pretty good most of the time.
i used to get the doll comment earlier on when i had curly hair.. and the korean/japanese comment too. i used to think it's cute to be called korean, but now i think it's much cooler to be chinese. hahaha.
about the micro dresses, i suggest safety shorts! just those tight black/white shorts will do. though i'm lazy to buy a pair and just wear my dresses out like that. it's very cheap! i think it's like 6 dollars here.
anyway, about the security guard/blue collared... beauty is universal. haha everyone appreciates beauty
genevieve: Omg, I didn''t even think of that! =/
rainer yong: Haha, I think that is debatable. ;)
mattie: Haha, like so optimistic like that! :P
adeline: What's wrong with high waisted shorts! :(
I get 'Japanese'and 'Korean' a lot, but I get insulted when people say that I look Korean 'cause Koreans are famous for pplastic surgery right! T_____T
And haha, thanks! :)
both japs and koreans are famous for plastic surgery leh..ahahaha
Yep you do look good in the last pic. and very thin ;)
btw do you and your sisters work thats why you guys can afford all the glamour outfits and branded bags (chanel!)?
eh use the club's big shiny eyes no need disclaimer ah WTF
jean: Haha, yea, Japanese might do cosmetic surgery, but I think it's really common amongst Koreans. :)
passerby: Haha, got meh? Why everyone said so ar! :P Hmm, I got my bags when I was in Melbourne, I worked as a tutor then, and 'cause of the pretty good pay and the high currency rate, I managed to get my bags la. :) And eek, we don't wear expensive clothes! We shop all around, and we don't really bother about brands at all. :)
tzeching: Eh wtf really become the club's trademark ar! Do you want me to take it down wtf.
wahaha! no lah. not worried about u. but more like worried how i could wear my 'boyfren shirt' out wifout revealing my thong. anyway...might not even wear it oso since it's still freaking freezing here even in April...even my pepet will freeze if i wear such minimal amount of clothes..wtf.
Simply adore Jing's fringe. I think its her fringe that makes her look very stunning. As for you, i think u should consider doing curls or perhaps "wonder wave" comparing the pics with curls and straight, u look much better in curls. just my 2 cents
hey! I stumbled across your blog and I love reading it! :)
Blog on! :)
Oh yes and I get picked up by indians ok. Only indians. Some of my friends say its my black hair... oh man!
What's wrong with blue collar?
owh trust me...
there are loads of reasons why certain girls are picked up by different guys...
i've heard a lot of this kind of things...
my girlfriend gets all the *phewits* and whatever you call those... by malays, indians and bangla...
oh well... ^_^
as for the shorts when wearing micros / short or micro dress...
it all depends...
ahaha lets get a job and be blue collars also la wtf then no need to complain about white/blue collar complimenting us ma... Since we're hot like that.. hoho *fans self*
what to do who ask me to have ultraman like eyes big like egg wtf.
vss3t: Yay, boyfriend shirts, I LOVEE the look! But mine not real bf's shirt la, if I wear my bf's shirt, I will be swimming in it, and DROWN wtf. And hahahaha, wear thermal underwear HAHAHAHA.
melanie: Haha, ya, thinking of curls or waves next! But I think curls age me. :'(
ju nn: Aww, thank you, love! :))) And OMG, I had a phase where I only got picked up by Indians! T____T Then I remember, in school, this whole group of Indians will crowd around me, and sing Tamil love songs to me. T______T Scariest thing in my life. T______T
simonseow: Haha, there is nothing wrong with blue-collared workers! Just pondering why I am only approached by them. T_T
unclejosh: Haha, you sound so mysterious!!! And you like damn chilled, although your gf gets 'phewits' from the banglas, hahahaha! :P
mustardqueen: I don;t want to be blue-collared worker!! :( I think daddy will KILL us if we do so, after paying so much for our education, especially after last night's lecture, HAHA!
Does your sis(jing) works as well?
cause she seems can afford expensive bags and always go shopping
i've just been reading the comments and saw that you worked as a tutor! if you don't mind me asking, how do you sell yourself (sorry i don't know how to word it T_T) as a tutor?
yeah, i also noticed that you sisters buys really expensive bags and buy clothes astho money comes easy...are these your own very hard earn money or dad simply gives the 3 of u few thousand to spend?
anonymous: My sis is uncomfortable with divulging too much of her personal life here, am gonna respect her wishes! :) But we all sell our things online. :)
lauleen: Hahahaha wtf sell myself!? :P Erm, well, I basically kept a lookout for ads which were looking for tutors, at least that was how I started out.. :) I had a a few students by word of mouth too la.. :) Are you interested in tutoring as well! :)
melanie: It is quite rude of you to accuse us of shopping "as though as money comes easy". And your statement about my dad is frankly, stepping over the line. My dad is a good man, who has always always stressed to us on the value of money, and he is the one who always insisted on not spoiling us. I hope you understand where I am coming from; I hold my dad in the greatest esteem, and I can't stand it if you question his ways of upbringing us. We get an allowance of RM300 each month, and yes, it is our own money that we shop with. It may seem that we shop a lot, but rest assured, that we know what we are doing. I for one, can speak for myself that I know how hard money is to come by, my dad has drilled the mentality into us. :) Indulging in occasional luxuries do not mean otherwise. Hope you're happy with the answer.
hey babe, i know how you feel when people say that we just take our dads' hard-earned money for granted.
people in my town (ulu wtf) are always saying that i am spoilt because i get branded bags every time my parents go to Europe, get to buy and shop like mad in Melbourne and can afford to go overseas and study (DAMN ULU of them!) because, and i quote "Your father so rich ma, i got money like you then i also wanna go overseas lo".
Dang, my dad doesnt set an allowance for me and my sisters because he wants us to learn the value of money ourselves. People say that we just take handouts and don't appreciate the money, but personally I'm like you three and sell my own clothes to earn money hehehe. Grrr and I worship my dad so I can't stand it when people say stuff like that.
Am I making sense? Haha.
hui wen, you're very pretty! I love the chanel bag that you're carrying and yes, you do look like a doll with your new hairstyle.
actually i think you look nice in black hair cuz you have quite fair skin tone. i once heard that if people with very black hair wants to dye their hair, they need to go thru bleaching first, which is quite bad for the hair. not sure if it's a must though. :P
katie: Eek, I can imagine that the criticism you get in Muar would be worse.. =/ I mean, being in the city, people are more open minded; at least, going overseas to study is considered the norm. But I totally get you! And haha, you don't have set allowance, means unlimited ar wtf. T__T I haven't' received my allowance for this week (I get RM100 every 10days) and I am going to die already! T___T
wei ern: Aww, you're too sweet!!! :))) *blows up like a pufferfish wtf* Actually, even after I dyed my hair now, it still looks black la. T_T And I am not fair! I am quite tanned now. :'( And I was quite lucky, I didn't need to bleach my hair before I dyed it! But maybe that's why my hair color still so dark now la wtf.
