Work organizer.

Inside this organizer is some of my most precious (work-related) thoughts.
I have got 3 organizers, haha.

Taken from Instagram (@revelinme).

I wish I have time to blog. :(
But busy is good!
At least that is what I always reassure people when they tell me that they are busy.
Busy is better than being idle.
Though that is what I would like very much now.

Glimpse.

Today I thought I'd share with you guys some bits and pieces of work! :)

Black crochet lace shots: Coming soon on AZORIAS

Dabbling at styling projects.

Farewell tea with our intern at Shangri La hotel.

Mustard navajo print skirt: AZORIAS

Our super intern!

At the Fashion Valet anniversary party.
By the way, check out the size disparity between of our eye sizes. T___T
Chinese: 0, all other people: 1.

Some of the faces behind AZORIAS. :)

Jean, our intern, was eying the Scallop-edge long jacket to bring over to Melbourne (she is going over for 1 year T_T), and being the most soft-spoken girl in the world, she asked us meekly whether she could buy it.

No she couldn't!

Because we surprised her with it as a gift (along with a whole bunch of other stuff, hehe). Super intern deserves the best!

At a brainstorming session.

Teeny is helping out too. :)

Feeling inferior standing next to very tall models.

Hopefully you guys enjoyed this post! :)

If my bank account has a voice...

... it would be screaming in pain now.

And if it has hands, it would be hurling punches at me WTF.

Reason being, I recently withdrew 8K SGD from my bank account.

*cricket sounds*

I mentioned sometime ago that I have a friend who is going to Europe, and since the Euro currency is so low now + designer goods are cheaper in Europe, I was scheming to ask him to get some things. To cut the story short, he is helping me AND my sisters get some designer stuff. Which is really shameless of them, since they have only met him once, haha. Anyway, I am lending some money to my sister as well as another one of my colleagues. I won't divulge how much of the pertains to my buys! Will post up pictures if he successfully gets me my stuff. :P

And Hoe Hui Jing, you better pay me back wtf.

******************************************

I just watched my first world cup match! *loser* 'Cause everyone else has probably caught at least a match a day. Boo. But my cousin doesn't subscribe to the sports channel, and in Singapore there aren't really any mamaks, so you don't get the culture where people go yumcha and watch football.

For example, I watched the world cup at a wine place today. -_-

It felt really weird welding a pair of fork and knife and looking up every few seconds to catch the match. And sipping chilled white while you are at it. Most of my football experiences (not that there were many) was either at a mamak or at home in my PJs. So to say that this was a brand new experience is an understatement, haha.

Then WT kept on egging me to bet, haha. Even way before world cup started, he was telling me that he is 'going to make his first million'. Via betting. Or maybe as an illegal bookie. Haha.

And damn cute to watch boys bet la. My colleague suggested to go eat claypot rice today. And when we reached the restaurant, he suddenly slapped his forehead, going 'SOHAIII cannot eat claypot la!'

'Cause winning means 'Jackpot', and thus losing is 'Claypot' WTFFF, hahahha!

So he ended up drinking soup with white rice while the rest of us had claypot rice. And refused to take even a small bite of my claypot rice no matter how much I tempted him.

And when he lost the bet (he had his money for Argentina and Korea to draw), he blamed it for not seeing the OMEN that he has suggested to eat CLAYPOT rice today. Hahahah damn superstitious!

And they call women irrational. ;)

Last Friday's work outfit 'cause IT'S FRIDAY TOMORROW! :D

Dust pink lace mini dress (worn as top): Velvet Ribbon
Black high waisted skirt: Supre, Australia
Pale pink faux pearl necklace: Topshop
Black velvet shoes with silver exposed zipper-trimmed bows: Singapore

I am delirious with joy not only because it's the weekend. It's also one day away from Jing's return!!!! :)))) Teeny will be back the following week... My best friend is officially a doctor and is back in KL till she gets a job... Jaclyn will be back as well in early July... :D

I just can't wait to be reunited with people who love me. God knows the past 6 months haven't been easy.

Bang bang, I shot you down.

With trepidation, I aimed the pointer at me. My hands trembled; I caught a breathe, as my fingers hesitated. I was afraid of what's ahead of me. But not any longer. 'Cause I couldn't take living like this anymore. I closed my eyes, and pulled the trigger.....

.... and a gush of hot air blew out, and I started blow-drying my hair.

Haha, I just bought myself a hairdryer! My new hairdo requires some sort of styling, which is totally against my principles wtf. I am pretty low-maintenance when it comes to hair, and all my previous hairstyles were always wash-and-go styles! Just the way I like it. I dislike blowdrying 'cause firstly, it is obviously damaging to the hair; and secondly, I have really thick hair, so it takes me ages to blowdry my hair! All hairstylists look at my hair in fear when I step into a salon. -_- And I always get charged the maximum rate on whatever that I do to my hair-- whether it's a wash, blow or treatment. T_T Whenever I visit Yen (my hairstylist), there is this designated assistant to wash/blow my hair, and Yen jokes that the assistant has built up arm muscles from blowdrying my hair (when Yen told me this, the assistant was nodding in the background, so I half-suspect it wasn't a joke... *trails off*). And whenever I walk into the shop, the assistant will quickly run out to buy lunch (I usually visit in the late morning or afternoon), because according to her: 1. she needs the energy to wash/blow my hair; and 2. once she starts doing my hair, she doesn't know when her next meal is. -______-

Note: Yen styles my hair (i.e. she cuts it), all other tasks are handled by her assistants!

Anyway, all that drama for blowdying my hair is because me avoiding any hair 'frills' has left me being pretty much a noob in the subject of hair-styling. I even bought a roller hairbrush from Vidal Sassoon, and checked with Teeny incessantly beforehand on tips to style my hair. My aim was to make my hair puffy and slightly blown-in like... like.. a Japanese, hehe. That was the way my hair was supposed to be styled when Yen cut it, but obviously she forgot that I really am an imbecile when it comes to hair. T_T

To cut the story short, I failed! I tried blowing my ends in, and they remained poker straight. So I gave up (after one try *shifty eyes*), and have now settled for straight albeit slight puffy hair. Hair will grow, hair will grow.

Another work outfit picture 'cause they appear to be well-received (chehhhh like real :P)!

Wore this last Thursday.
(Btw, this is how my hair looks like without any form of styling!)

And since I had drinks on the same night...

It only made sense that my outfit had a little bit of vava-voom. :P

To cover-up during the day, I had a sheer wrap-around top on. ;)

Black satin bustier top with bow-back: Stolen from Jing
Black skirt: Zara
Black sheer wrap-wround top with puffed sleeves: Bardot, Australia
Necklace with black enamel camelia pendant with faux pearl: Zhuhai
Black velvet shoes with silver exposed zipper-trimmed bows: Singapore

Jewels in the sky.

I am addicted to Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook now!
Have always been a big fan of Bejweled, god knows that was how I passed time during my internship: tapping furiously at my laptop looking very very very busy when I was actually trying to align colorful gems in a row of threes, hehe.

But now, it is a full-fledge WAR! I am constantly trying to top my colleague's top score, and vice versa. We trash talk each other in office while we try to play discreetly WTF, and send each other taunting emails when one scores higher than the other hahaha. -__-

Disclaimer: We only play the games after office hour, so it doesn't affect our productivity ok!

He currently has >300K of points, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. My highest was 100-over K only. *loser* Anyone got tips or not! wtf

Working woman who plays Bejeweled at work (after work wtf):

Champagne-colored round-neck satin top: Bysi, Singapore
Black (cropped) pants: Zara
Dust pink floral corsage: Diva
Shoes (not shown): Cream heels with black wingtips and bows

Cropped pants 'cause normal Zara long pants are too long for me! Whereas their cropped pants are just the right length. -___- That gives you a pretty good idea of how long my legs are, fml.

Shortie, through and through.

Brace yourself.

Not only am I short in height, now I will have to face the truth that I have short-ish hair!

T__________________T

I know it's not short SHORT, say, like a bob, but for a girl who has had hair reaching to her waist... and did not expect to go so short, this is short SHORT!

I was all prepared for a change, 'cause frankly speaking, I was a little bored of having long straight dark hair, and my haircut was getting quite out of shape. Plus, going to bintan (sea water + lots of chlorine) has rendered my hair super unmanageable (think dry branches wtf), which only strengthened my resolve to do something to my hair.

Y'know, along the lines of a trim and maybe a dye job.

Then Yen told me that she will be cutting it to my armpit level, which is something I could live with. Little did I know that the next time I looked into the mirror my hair was shoulder-length. T_T Darn you, June issue of Cleo.

I was dreading going to work, 'cause my guy colleagues are ruthless when it comes to my appearance wtf. But they all said that my new hairstyle looks better! Looks more fresh, according to them. They even asked me whether my ex has seen the new hair 'cause it will make him regret WTF. -___-

True friends. *teary eyes*

Anyway, I guess I should be happy! 'Cause guys' opinion matter more WTF. As in I am very sure girls will just come up to me and tell me that my haircut looks great 'cause girls are just diplomatic (and for some, two-headed) like that. And girls have a higher threshold of funkiness and change! I for one, always prefer it when my girlfriends go short, because I feel that they look so much fresher and sharper in their new hairdo.

(Btw, I did a quiz at the hair salon-- "Are you a man's woman or a girl's girl", and apparently I am my own woman wtf)

It's currently Day 2 of me with my new hair, and I guess it's starting to grow on me. Though I still go through hyperventilation episodes sometimes when I look into the mirror and see my hair wtf. The only thing is, I have to lose weight to accommodate the new haircut, 'cause I can no longer hide (my fats) behind my hair. -_-

And something I haven't done in a long time, outfit picture of today! :)

Mint green top with bows: Tea & Sympathy
Black knee-length skirt: Zara
Pearl bracelet: Diva
Green patent wedges (not shown): Target, Australia

Getting a little personal.

Today, something most unexpected happened.

Whilst halfway being pressed for work by my senior manager, suddenly her impatient instructions took a turn, and she started talking to me about my performance for the year. The strange thing was, she actually told me really nice things.

What is strange about this incident, is 'cause this came from a superior who has given me hell and hell only for the past year. Someone who has such high expectations, who has chastised us non-stop for so-calledly sub-par work, who has made me question my abilities. When I have jobs with her, my stress levels run so high that it bursts the roof. Because of her, I have missed my period twice. In fact, my severe break-out now is very much caused by her; or at least working with her.

This is possibly one of the more personal posts I have done in a bit. But what you all don't know is, at one point during the earlier part of this year, I was feeling so inadequate that I broke down and cry on the phone with the boyfriend. Having not enough rest almost 24/7, yet being chased and hounded all the time, and getting thrown all kind of tasks which sometimes made me feel I am over my head; it was crazy.

And yet, now she tells me I have performed well for the past year. She even admitted that she is too impatient, and that she and all the managers have very high expectations.

It took me by (pleasant surprise), and I felt this sense of.. validation.

It's weird, but since I left university, I have been made to feel ashamed of my sterling achievements in school. It seems that if you score straight 'A's, you are 'book smart', and is thus written off as a straight-laced nerd who is inflexible and inept at.. life, in general. And there are people who make me feel guilty of my academic achievements? I have to admit, at my lowest point, they succeeded. :(

But today, when my senior manager talked to me; she specifically pointed out that I can build very strong rapport with my clients. That I am flexible, and is able to think at my feet. That I am a fast learner, and I pick things up very quickly.

:)

And later, I told my senior about what she told me (you have to understand, this is really a very big thing, 'cause she almost never ever praise anyone!!), and he confessed to me that during their review session, she apparently brought up to him that she thinks I am very suited in this field, and that I can go a long way.

Which is why I am confused now. Is it possible to hate what you are doing, and yet is good at it?

*****************************************

Since some of you have been asking me to post my work outfit pictures, what better time to post some of them now, especially with my big lengthy post on work. :)

All pictures taken with the Samsung Ultra Touch phone. :)

Black and white polka dot puffed sleeves top: Thrifted
Gray slacks: From internship days
Pearl strands: Forever 21
Nude pumps (not pictured): Thrifted

It's amazing that I can still fit into my pants which I bought for my internship a good whole 3 years back? :P (though it's rather snug now wtf) And my pumps, they were a steal at RM18 (got them at a junkyard sale and they were brand new!), and heck, they are one of my most comfortable work shoes.

Pale pink flared sleeves high neck top with back sash: Singapore
Pencil skirt: G2000
Pale pink bauble pearl necklace: Topshop
Black bow pumps (not pictured): Vincci

Vintage houndtooth dress: Online
Pearl necklace: Melbourne
Nude pumps (not pictured): Thrifted

Blue pussy bow flare sleeved top: Thrifted
Gray and black checkered high waisted pleated skirt: Isetan

And I am at the most awesome client's office now! They gave us a huuuge meeting room with a big living room in it, hello, inviting sofas and couches! And we get this amazing view:

Overlooking the sea, and oh, is that Sentosa Island I see there? :P

Seriously one of the best offices I have worked, mmm mmm.

There are ups and downs in what I am doing. While I can't decide whether I am in this for the long run, for today, for now, I just want to give myself on a pat on the back. :)

Oooogre.

This is an email sent to me recently:

Photobucket

You see my name as an addressee in the email, but you don't see it in the cost tabulation table right??!! 'Cause I am Princess Fiona. -_______________-

I have mentioned here why my colleagues call me Fiona! To recap: someone commented that I look like Fiona Xie (a Singaporean celebrity), and my colleagues found it SO funny that they call me Fiona... and the name stuck on. T___T

At first it was just two of my colleagues, Calvin and Shenton, who are total idiots, who started the name-calling wtf. But soon, the whole department knows about it, and everyone refers to me as Fiona! -__- And the best part is, I am so used to it, I actually respond to the name. T__T

In fact, once my manager overheard a colleague calling me Fiona, and she asked me, "Hmm, your English name is Fiona? I didn't know about that! Should I call you Fiona from now onwards?"
And I had to come up with some lame excuse about her hearing wrongly and quickly run away. T_T

And of course, there are many versions of 'Fiona'-esque names that came about. There was once I was sitting quietly doing my work, when my colleague next to us dialled the extension of another guy just sitting across us to ask him for lunch. And they said, right in front of me, "Eh, ask Shrek's wife whether she wants to come along too!" -______-

But I am super sporting la. Accepted my fate already WTF. For instance, there was once I nearly got banged by a car whilst crossing the road (due to my low agility and acute blurness wtf), and my colleague nagged me, "Fiona!! Don't know how to cross roads is it!"
To which I mumbled, "Sorry la, they never teach in ogre school". And everyone threw their heads back in delight wtf.
Haiihh why do I always attract people to laugh at me. T_T

In fact, 'Fiona' has became somewhat a legend WTF. Whenever I say something blonde, or trip over a step, or something idiotic like that, my colleagues will go "That's so Fiona!" or "Eh, don't Fiona me la!" hahahahahah.

During our department lunch in this cozy Italian restaurant, we had awesome chocolate chip cookies along with our coffee. And somehow, the boss came over and gave me a small plate of extra cookies! *shy* And someone went: That's the Fiona charm. Hahahha.

Haihhhh, how la people. I am always not that keen to get an English name (despite countless people egging me on to get one), 'cause I feel that Hui Wen embodies ME. But now apparently Fiona does as well. -__-

The only thing I can do is to make sure that the the Princess Fiona reference to me is before her transformation into an ogre WTF.

The toilets better have doors.

*when you all read this entry, I should be in the plane a gazillon miles above ground level!

*edited*

Hi everyone!!! I am in Wuxi now, in fact I am in the hotel! It's a 4-star hotel, but as my senior reminded me, it's 4-star for the locals WTF. But at least it's clean! And warm! And comes with hangers hallelujah. Wuxi is supposedly pretty warm today (we saw sun when we landed in Shanghai today), but by the time we reached Wuxi at night time (it is 2.5 hours drive away from Shanghai airport), the temperature has fallen to 1-2 degrees. T_T And it is forecasted to be -3 degree celcius tomorrow! T__T

But I am strong! 'Cause I just wore a cardie, a cotton turtle neck, a vest and my trench coat, and I could survive the cold! But we will see tomorrow negative degrees cold and separate the girls from the women WTF.

And I am damn emo! 'Cause my contacts broke! T___T And I didn't bring an extra pair, so I will be stuck in glasses for the whole of this week, BOOO.

Other than that, I am fine! Will update more! :)

**************************************

So as you all know, I will be going to Wuxi, China tomorrow, for a business trip!
The temperature/weather there now is around -2 degrees. -__-

I am having these butterflies in my tummy! Butterflies which usually come out before I go on stage or something. I am nervous about the trip. :/

Maybe it's the kick-off meeting I had yesterday for the trip-- the manager kept on apologising for the tight deadline, all the listing-out of the work that I was supposed to do (way too advanced for a freshie like me), the discussion of overtime hours etc... It's already hard enough to be facing one of my bigger jobs yet, what more in a foreign country! A foreign country which is colder than a refrigerator wtf.

Maybe it's the travelling alone? Of course, I am not alone per se, I have 2 fellow colleagues with me-- my senior who LOVES bullying me ("eh, hui wen, I have helped you booked your airplane seat online already, you are sitting in the toilet" WTF), and a new addition to our department, the sweetest girl, and we can get along when we both admitted to each other that we don't own sneakers, HAHA. But irregardless, I will have to be accountable for myself-- 'cause we are all there for professional purposes. I will have to lug my own luggage, while juggling client files that we are bringing along, stationary (we are talking about huge ass staplers and punchers, foolscap pads, empty paper files, folder clips etc), and my heavy-ass work laptop. :/

Maybe it's the fact that as the workload is so heavy, the manager has forewarned us that our return trip might be pushed back? This means that though I am supposed to fly back next Saturday, there is a chance that I will be back much later. And we won't know when it is until we actually jump into the deep end and get our hands dirty.

Maybe it's 'cause roaming charges is going to be a bitch there, and this means that I might not get to talk to the boyfriend everynight before I go to sleep-- my nightly ritual. :(

Maybe it's the extremely freezing weather? I still have not completely recovered, and I am just praying fervently that my condition will not be aggravated by the cold. :( In fact, I thought I am almost A-OK, but just now when I walked back from the post office (to get Teeny's shopping package-- she has extended her online-shopping tendencies to Singapore -_-), I almost fainted! Halfway walking, suddenly I just broke out in cold sweat, and started feeling really nauseated, and I felt really dizzy. :((( I am praying it's 'cause of my period (losing too much blood wtf), and not 'cause I am sick sick.

Since I am on the subject of the cold weather, I am also really stressed out about what to wear/pack! Haha, I know it's really bimbotic, but do remember that I have to be clad in work clothes/professional wear-- so it's going to be quite a challenge to incorporate that into a functional wardrobe for negative-degree temperatures. -_- Usually I love cold weathers, 'cause it means I can play with layering and have fun dressing up, but how to layer for -2 celcius!! Wear 15 layers ar wtf. And I had to resort to bringing warm clothings from KL (when I was back the past 2 times), but usually I procastinated so much that I just throw a few knits in my bag and come right back to Singapore... So I will really need to get my brain juices flowing later to see how I can mix and match everything. -_- And OH YA I forgot to mention that I will be bringing a small-ish luggage bag too!!! 'Cause both my colleagues will be bringing small bags, and I don't want to be left out as the bimbo who changes clothes 3 times a day wtf. As it is, I use around medium-sized suitcases for a 3-4 days weekend, now I have to cram a 1-week long's worth of outfits into the same bag??? Not to mention, we are talking about 1-week long's worth of thick wooly clothings???? Lord save me. T_T

And I am also worried about haunted hotel rooms wtf. Chinese ghosts scare the hell out of me. T_________________T

But let's not be so pessimistic here!!

This is a text message I got from my senior when he went down to Wuxi last week for some preliminary work, whereby after I finished reading it, I started squealing in the office:

"... Was kind of bored last night, so i went shopping. There's H & M, Gucci, Loewe, Bally etc here. ..."

This was the point I started squealing, haha.

Gucci? Yay! Loewe? Yay! Bally? Yay!

But H & M??? WHEEEEE YAYYYYY YAHOOOOO WOOOOOT HURRAYYYYY!

All this while H & M was like some kind of legend to me wtf. Completely out of reach (the nearest H & M store to us is in Hong Kong). But hello baby, I am coming to you! :D :D :D

Haih, trust me to focus on the (frivalous) silver lining amidst the dark clouds, hehe. Anyhow, leave me nice encouraging comments, so that I will have something to read when I check into the hotel k (should be reaching at about 7-8pm)! Actually I just like reading comments la, but whatever wtf. And I am undecided, should I hope for it to snow or not!

Work it.

I haven't done this in awhile! Work outfits-- but only a week's worth. I am sorry to admit that I have stopped taking work outfit photos. :( Getting lazy. :(

Cream shirt with ruffles and gray pleated skirt. First time meeting one of my clients-- I try to dress more conservatively for these occasions!

Neon yellow/green turtleneck with checkered skirt. Bright colors cheer up boring work days! :P

Striped top with neck tie-sash. I can't remember whether I wore the top tucked in or out for work, I am so indecisive!

Felt lazy, so it was a comfy shirtdress and flats! And my white woven belt rather resembles a snake here WTF.

Friday, yay! This is a silk F21 dress I got almost 2 years back. I have worn it once for our anniversary dinner-- I have decided work gives the best opportunity for me to rewear my clothes! :P

That reminds me, I haven't blogged about Jogoya (where we had our anniversary dinner)-- one of the most awesome places for Japanese buffet! ;)

Topshop necklace... which I have completely forgotten about till I saw this picture. -_-

YAYYYYY I will be home for the Deepavali.. which means technically I will be home for THREE days!!! Instead of the usual Saturday + Sunday rush. :( I couldn't get tickets to go back on Friday night, but hey, Saturday morning isn't too bad too right! Daddy and mommy's 25th wedding anniversary dinner is tonight, woooot! At first they thought of threwing a party, but 'cause time was running tight (I am partly to be be blamed for this, 'cause I couldn't confirm when I could go home), so now it's just a family dinner. :)

When my mom called me to ask me when I can go home so that they can arrange something for the occasion:

Me: WAHHH mommy 25th wedding anniversary??!!! Is it considered paper anniversary ar!!
Mom: WHAT PAPER! Silver already ok!

Ooops. Heh.

And I have morning brunch with the boyfriend, Cuppacake on Sunday... Wooo, I am so happy I made the decision to go back this weekend! :D

Completely irrelevant, but I have decided to go on a shopping ban! Now, before you sniff your nose and walk away, I AM SERIOUS THIS TIME!
I really need to save money. :( So it's a one-month shopping ban for me! But this excludes mini purchases (like hairbands and cheap accessories) and super super super bargains la. Those are emergencies!

I can do it ok!!! If I buy anything, you all whack me la. :(

But I will be doing some beauty-junkie shopping back in KL this weekend though (buying in S'pore is more expensive, tsk)! Sigh, I don't know why, my toiletries always finish at the same time. -_- Things on my list:

- Cleanser
- Toner ('cause the very smart me didn't put the cap tightly on my Clinique toner when I packed my bag back to KL last weekend, and almost everything was spilled. -_- The best part is, just now I fumbled with the bottle, and I have even spilled the last few drops. T_T_
- Hydration masks
- BB powder
- Sunscreen
- Possibly Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner, I am really sick of smudged eyeliner
- Hand cream from Crabtree & Evelyn
- Eyecream

You know what, I think it's cheaper for me to just get a new face. -________-

OHHHH, that reminds me... If I open a stall at Bijou Bazaar next week, will you all go?

The details are as such:

Bijou Bazaar @ Eco Film Fest 2008
ASWARA, Kuala Lumpur
1 - 2 November 2008
Operating Hours: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Ya, I do realise that I don't know where the fuck is the place. But I need to get rid of my clothes! I am thinking of sharing a stall with someone... So how, will you all come! :D

Our SATC moments/ 1 month's worth of work outfits

*edit*

I am really pissed now.

Did any of you notice a comment which went like that in my pseudo-Postsecret entry?

-I sell clothes online(both 2nd hand and new),I sometimes pretend they're new eventhought they're worn but never wash.

-I'm secretly happy because people are stupid enough to buy my clothes/shoes I sells in my online boutique because they're actually very cheap!

-People with doctorate degree are better in fashion *winks*

I didn't give it any thought, until Jac and Mey told me that they thought the comment was made by Jing. -__-
How many of you made the same association???

When I first read this comment, it didn't even cross my mind that it is my sister, 'cause:
1. She doesn't pretend that the things she sell are brand new-- all her items are clearly and truly described/stated.
2. The things that she is selling are actually very reasonably priced, especially when compared to some of the other online boutiques.
3. She definitely has much better grammar than that.
4. Even if she is truly all the things that the comment mentioned, WHY IN THE WORLD would she be so stupid to put such a taunting comment in MY blog???? -___-

I am really pissed now, 'cause I am not sure whether this commenter is just bragging about her online business, or is she out to defame my sister. If it is the latter, I AM FUCKING PISSED. Because according to Mey and Jac, it sounds like my sister. And even Jing's best friend thinks that the intonation and style sounds like her.

So it means this retard is mimicking my sister-- and out to make her sound bad.

It's really obvious that you are one of Jing's online boutique competitor, and you're just jealous and bitter that she is doing quite well with her online shop . What you are doing is incredibly low, foul, and disgusting. After discussing with Jing, we have a pretty good idea of who you are. So fuck off, before you get fucked by us.

You leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Update tomorrow! :)

******************************************

*updated*

I am seated in Coffee Bean now, the wireless at home is fucked. Which explains my lack of an update yesterday, despite my plain declaration to do so.

To pacify the people who have been asking me to post up more work outfits, here's 1 whole month of them! True to the boyfriend's prediction, I am now severely bored of dressing up for work, and have now resort to grabbing the first thing that catches my eye in the morning, and place importance on, hell forbid it, comfort.

:O

Anyway, the reason why I am forcing almost 2 dozens of outfits down your throats at one go is 'cause, well, posting this 1 month's worth of work outfits would clear off all the work-clothes pictures I have taken in my old place! Remember those dark gloomy pictures which more often than not, you couldn't even see me clearly? Well, no more of that after this (I am happy to announce that my new room is as bright as the heavens wtf), and I can start with a clean slate. ;)

Week 1

Monday.
Belted dress-shirt which I got for my internship 3 years ago. Which I was aghast to find, much more snug now. T_T
And I noticed that I have an affinity to dress more formal/proper on Mondays! =/

Tuesday.
Satin black dress shirt with white trimmings. Gone for a monochromatic look, paired with bright red suede pumps. Which is not so red in the picture. Damn you, dark gloomy room!

Some of my colleagues were shocked that I wore red shoes. Auditors. T__T

Wednesday.
Sheer-ish top with big bell sleeves, worn with navy skirt and navy pumps.

The top is actually a sheer kaftan that I got as a bikini cover-up! :P

Thursday.
Country Road white semi high-neck blouse which I got from Camberwell market. For like AUD2. :D
Work with black gladiator belt here.

Friday.
Yes yes, I have too many white shirts. *wry smile*
My happy checkered cigarette pants! Which are a little too long for me at the moment. Alteration is coming its way!

Week 2

Monday.
Black long-sleeves top with pleated chiffon and velvet ribbon trimmings (velvet ribbon wtf). Worn with dark gray pinstriped high-waisted skirt which looks black 'cause of THE DARK AND GLOOMY ROOM. *angsty wtf*

Tuesday.
Pretty patterned fabric corsage which broke T_T, and beige linen slacks.
Love this Topshop necklace I have on-- the cream and gold makes a classy blend. :)

Wednesday.
Pink satin top with soft gray cardie and cream swing skirt. Felt like being girlie. ;)

Thursday.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this skirt I have on! One of those last minute shopping decisions before I left Melbourne. It's gold/silver-ish, with 2 big black buttons as accents. And it's actually shorter than what my company allows, but oh well! :P

Friday.
Bright mustard yellow striped cardie with white slacks. One of my comfy outfits, 'cause I took the bus back to KL on the same night! :)

Week 3

Tuesday.
I wore flats for work, gasp! 'Cause I really needed to wear comfy shoes, my feet (or rather foot) was killed by the nude pumps I wore here. T__T
Got this pair of electric blue pumps from Camberwell market as well... It's like the most comfortable thing ever! Like bedroom slippers. :D

Wednesday.
Cream knitted vest over silk camisole, gray slacks, and Zara beige wedges with black bows.
My friend asked me, "You think today casual Friday ar!" -___-

Thursday.
I call this my kebaya top! :P
Haha, actually nola, it's mandarin collared, but cuts down to a V-neck. Of a vibrant orange-red shade, and made of a silky/sude-like fabric, another one of my comfy outfits!

Friday.
You might remember this outfit from here. :D
And someone asked me why I could wear a arm-bearing/halterneck top for work, well, I had my trustworthy pashmina! :P

Week 4

Monday.
Oversized white linen safari-inspired shirt, worn with tan belt and khaki skirt. And my vintage pearl strands. :D

Tuesday.
Repeated the same top refer to above), 'cause I wanted to wear flats again *sheepish* 'Cause I flew home on this day, I wanted to be comfortable!! Paired it with a brown plaid tulip skirt this time.
And I wore another pair of my electric blue ballet flats. Sigh, I swear to god, when I bought this pair of shoes, I was convinced that I do not own a pair of electric blue shoes! But apparently I do. -__-

Friday. No Wednesday and Thursday outfits 'cause I was home! :D
F21 red turtleneck which has peekaboo details all over the shoulder-chest area (shit sounds so slutty wtf), and my beautiful pumps, gotten from one of those junkyard sales in KL! :)

***************************************

Ok fine, despite the cheerful depiction of my pictures above, I am actually very very very sad now. :(

Quoting Lemony Snicket wtf, it was just a series of unfortunate events la. :(
Or more like, a series of things that are not going my way.

It's the Mooncake Festival this Sunday, and I am not going to be at home with my family.
For the past 2 years, I didn't celebrate it at home 'cause I was in Melbourne; but 3rd year in a row? Man, that sucks.
I actually bought a ticket to home this weekend, but 'cause there was a department BBQ last night, I postponed it to next weekend, completely forgetting that this Sunday is Mooncake Festival. :(

My wireless at my new place is fucked. I don't know how the tenant fucked up the connection, but she did. And the best part is? She went back to KL, so she can't fix the problem. And even better? She will be back in Kl for TWO weeks. Meaning I have to live without internet access for 2 weeks? I am fucked.

I took leave on 2nd and 3rd October 'cause of the Hari Raya Haji public holiday-- I would get to be home for a stretch of 5 days. Was even planning to go somewhere with the boyfriend for a short holiday. But I just found out that the Welcome Night of my company is held on 3rd Oct, and it is actually quite a big deal-- the whole of Zouk would be specially reserved for my company. It would be good for me to be present at this event, 'cause not only can I meet new people, it would also be a good opportunity to bond with my colleagues and superiors. So... I am deciding to cancel that leave. So now I have nothing to look forward to. No time off from work. No holiday. No quality time at home.

And the absolutely, absolutely worst thing is... My family is going to Taiwan next week. It is pretty much an impromptu trip, my aunt/uncle and cousin(s) would be going as well. But barring these details, the main point is that my family would be going. Not me. Without me. When the preposition of the trip first came up, I was really excited, 'cause I thought I could take 2 days off and follow them on the trip. Then BAM I found out this week that during that period I would be put on a shit job. So that means no leave for me. And with that, no trip for me. You can't imagine just how upset and left-out and hollow this is all making me feel. The last family trip we went on was to Japan, almost 3 years ago. The last time I missed out on a family trip was during my internship, when they went to Bangkok. And till today, it still makes me feel left-out, especially when they start talking about the memories and amusing events during the trip. Or when we look through the Bangkok pictures. Because I am not even in the pictures. :( And my parents always don't want to go on a Bangkok trip, because they insist that everyone else has been. I haven't been, I always try to tell them. But it never works. Which is why till today I have never set foot in Bangkok. :( And the irony? They will be going to Taiwan next weekend-- the weekend that I will be back in KL.

I am just utterly depressed now.
