Grand Prix Melbourne.




It was an impulse decision! I am not even a fan of Formula 1. *sheepish*
But I thought it would be good to experience everything whilst in Melbourne. :)




At the bus stop, after missing the bus, thus having to work for another half an hour for the next bus.

My observance cracks me up sometimes. ;)




While walking into the admission area...




I have NO IDEA why they had rides at the Grand Prix!!! It just totally doesn't go! If this was a task in The Apprentice, Donald Trump would have fire the team for creating atmosphere that is inconsistent with the event.

Hee, yea, I am passing time watching The Apprentice nowadays. Makes me feel like working hard in life.
Momentarily.


And people actually went on the rides!!!

I understand how some people might take on the rides, 'cause 58 laps of the same cars zooming past you in a blur, as hot as they are, gets stale after awhile.

But the least you could do is watch the last 3 laps right???

Even while the final lap was completed and people were cheering for the new champions, I could see from the corner of my eye that there was still alot of people on the rides!

Like, what the hell.
Pay AUD68 to go on rides. -_-

Not more tanned. They used the term 'blacker'.

I knew it was a good iea to go shopping before the race. ;)

Yup, I took out the jeans, and fully utilised the bag!
The jeans was such a steal, it was originally priced at AUD180!




While waiting for the race to start.
We got there early to hog good seats.



The sounds of the purring engines are so sexy.
I know, I sound like such a bloke!
But it's indescribable, the smooth revvs of gorgeous cars.
The moment I heard the first revving, I was hooked...
And instantly put in the mood.


As the cars accelerate past you, the reverbarations of the engine whirrs sends tingles up your spine.
I can't put it into words.

It was almost literally impossible to snap pictures of the cars! They go past you so fast, that almost all of my shots are just empty backgrounds.




Kepo audience who wanted to see the racers crash and burn.

And beyond that, ladies and gentlemen, I got bored.

Guess I am not such a bloke's girl, after all.
It's just repetitions of a car going round and round gets old fast.
And in my defense, I slept for 4 hours plus only the night before!
So I was actually dozing off at certain parts of the competition. *guilty*



But I did manage to catch the winner of the race!

And after the race, they actually allowed the audience to go onto the tracks!
