I love Camberwell, I really, really do. :)
Bernard, the kind soul who has always been fetching us to Camberwell.
Littlest Smalls.
And me. :)
Random pictures at the market:
This little boy was performing the moonwalk!
I wanted to take a picture with him, with both of us moonwalking... But I was afraid people would judge me.. T___T
The stall is furnished like a real shop!
LOOOOK! I have skinny armpits! Woot woot! Tae box works! :D
Bernard's posterior. But his backview looks like a VCD seller here. -_-
He's one of the very few M'sian guys I know who wears skinny jeans! ;)
The weather was perfect. :)
He bought a vase. -_-
And Smalls said that I bought the whole Camberwell! Where got lar.
If I did, I would have bought these too!
On my wishlist:
A rocking chair.
I used to have fun at my old house, and I would rock on it so fast until I feel nauseous. -_-
A patio chair. I want to laze in the sun in a bikini, and a book perched on top of my tummy.
A rocking horse PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
Actually anything rocking horse would be nice. I want one on a necklace! :P
And this one here is furry and comes with evil eyes too.
Garden bench, thank you very much.
The boyfriend is coming soon, and I need a love seat.
And this bird windmill/fan thingy.
And I had the loveliest breakfast!
Bernard and friends brought us to Flinder's Lane, which has a hidden row of cafes... I love hidden treasures!
And the flatmates have agreed to accompany me there and try them out. :)
My hot mocha. Poached eggs with raw salmon on English muffin.
Like I said, lovely, lovely. :)
And because I feel that I didn't really snap a lot of pictures of the market, here are some of my buys... ;)
Vintage finds:
This shirt is way, way oversized... But I tried it on with a tan belt, and it looks cuuute! And it even has little eyelets! :)
Smalls calls this my Jesus shirt. -_-
I am wearing this as a jacket! I think it'll be a cute look. ;)
And I have been looking for something like that since forever! (actually since I saw Kate Hudson wearing in Shop Till You Drop Feb' 2007 issue wtf)
Silk tunic? kaftan? top...
... with the loveliest detailings.
Sportsgirl was selling theirs for AUD89.95... And I got mine for...
2AUD. :D
I can wear this as a cardie/shrug... Am also thinking of just pinning it with a brooch, and wear it for clubbing. :P
There are little pearls on the flower appliques! And it's completely sheer at the back.
For days I want to be classy and elegant.
Sequined oversized sweater. The sequin detailing is breathtaking, I am telling you.
I really really love this oversized sweater! I have been looking for one since forever! It will look super cute with skinnys and ballet pumps. And it's really soft and comfy too! :)
And it has little pearls scattered artistically on it. Aaah, love.
A steal for AUD5! ;)
A really gorgeous silk dress, with a lovely fabric.
I love the pleating of the bubble bottom!
And my non-vintage buys:
Silk/satin-ish ballet flats.
I thought I was going to wear this as a dress, but upon trying it at home, I found out that I could button it differently, and it could be a cardie too! :)
Loving the crotchet sleeves of this top.
For days I want to feel LOUD.
And I am damn sad!
I bought something that I already have! :'(
Lovely, lovely dress, but after buying it, only I realised I have the white version! T____T
Sheer top with asymmetrical hem.
And a really funky print! ;)
When I showed this top to Jac, she told me she just lost money at Crown casino the day before. Oops.
Very versatile dress.
This is a little too big for me! :'(
But it would look so hot if it was fitting-- the scooped neckline, and the curved hemline. But, alas. :(
This is not really my style, 'cause I think it's a little mature, but nevertheless, it's a pretty dress.
But it makes me look yellow... Like the Simpsons.
Not just another boring top!
'Cause I like the sheer trimmings. ;)
And two of my favorite buys:
I love the pom poms on this one! :D
A light gold silk dress... Love the neckline, love the draping of the skirt, love the beatiful back. :)
And I bought so many gorgeous vintage jewellery pieces the last time I went! But I couldn't find the same auntie who sold it this time. :(
But I did find this...
Vintage angel necklace.
The prices of my finds that day started from AUD1! I am gooood. :P
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE digging for little treasures. :)
Anyway, as I was saying, Smalls' assertion that I bought out Camberwell is completely unfounded!
Really waaaaan.

WHAT-E-EVER! *flicks hair bitchily* :) I'm damn good these days, haven't gila-shopped for ages! *proud* :) I LURVE all the non-vintage stuff, HAHAHAHHA! Jesus shirt, the name couldn't be more purrfect, HAHAHHAHHAH! =P
cass: ARGHHH, I am so sorry, it completely slipped mind! Have been swarmed with work these 2 weeks, meh. Will get to it by TONIGHT, I PROMISEEE! :D And which top are you referring to? Is it the kaftan-like AUD2 top? Haha, it's not white, the whole top is lilac/pink-ish... And I am not prepared to sell it, dear.. :( I really really really love it! So sorry! :'(
rileen: Haha, stalk away! I greet you with peace. :P And you have paid me with some wonderful compliments!!! 'Cause sometimes I think I'm too longwinded with my entries-- I blog about almost every little thing! :P
cryst: Aaaah, a fellow vintage/beatiful clothes lover! <33333 And the necklace is damn cute right?? :) Haha, don't have to rob, COME TO MELB!! :D :D :D
aud: Wtf, are garden bench designs universal, haha. And I don't mind selling off the dress-- but do you mind if I wear once first? I am very confused ler, 'cause both the black and white versions are equally gorgeous, but with different feels! T____T And HAHAHAHA living vicariously through me wtf.
anonymous: Oh, it's not a tube dress, it has thick straps-- which were covered by my hair! -_- I got it from KL, The Curve, I think.. :) But if you want it, I am actually thinking of selling it off! Hit me back!=)
jing: BULLSHIT. A WHOLE LOT OF BULLSHIT. You haven't gila-shopped for awhile-- WHAT A BUNCH OF BOLLOCKS. :P And oiii, my vintage stuff also nice what! *hurt*
Hey I`m Jane and I`m the anonymous whos interested in your dress..simply prettty...are you selling your dress?

tayshienwern@hotmail.com
Thanks and have a nice day =)
OMFG,ship me to Melbourne will ya? :(
Your buyyyyyssss!
is that purple top very big/baggy sideways? is it short?
Jane: Alrighty, will mail you maybe later tonight, or tomorrow! :) Are you in m'sia? =)
anon: Haha, actually, I am sure everywhere there are lots of good finds! Even m'sia! :P Just that melbourne has this sort of flea markets-- somehow m'sia hasn't caught on to the whole vintage vibe yet. :(
anonymous: Are you referring to the silk lilac/pink kaftan top? :) Yeaaa, it's actually kinda big, but 'cause this type of tops aren't meant to be worn snug or fitting anyway.. And I was thinking of a low slung belt or something to cinch the top Haha, will experiment! :D ... And it's not short! Probably stops slightly above the hips. =)
Smalls schooo cute la. Does she have a boyfriend? I want to pack her in a box and pinch her all day. BWAHAHAHHA. Damn lesboOo
Oooh I really like #1, 4 and 5. I think I got that right. All the white stuff :D I think I need to hit Camberwell. Have never been :P
one word
LOVE
two words
VINTAGE LOVE
Eh Jebus... Em... Don't fold ur sleeve when you're wearing ur Jebus Shirt k?? U won't look so pro folding ur sleeves!! HAHAHAH WHAT THE FUCK!!!~~
hahaa.. I simply love your blog !
we share the same interests too. I love digging the old stuff, I call it the treasures in other people's junk.
I only go there when friends offer to drive.. hehee..
and I think I saw you in Monash the other day. =D
Uh-huh,VINTAGE! M'sia hasn't caught the bug yet (and I suspect they never will -_-")
anonymous: Haha, yes, she has a boyfriend.. :) And I get to smack her butt, hahaha! :P
sophia: I have a sot spot for white stuff too-- whenever I need to pick between black or white, it's always white for me.. :P and you should TOTALLY go to Camberwell!! Ask me along k!! :D
mich_dixc: My sentiments exactly! :D
mustardqueen: I have to fold it ler, if not it's too big for me! T__T
rach-el: You're in monash too?? :) Eek, I wasn't doing anything silly right? Haha... And yaaa, 'cause I stay in clayton, it's a bitch to get to camberwell!! I can only get there when my kind friends offer to bring us along too.. :P
anon: YEAAA!! 'Cause M'sians are just too kiasu, they refuse to wear anything second hand... And I think it probably has something to do with how M'sians are real.. misers? Like, the only clothes they will give up are probably the moth-eaten and totally fugly ones... And partly also 'cause vintage clothes are usually funkier, and I guess m'sia just isn't ready for that yet.. -_-
babe, you are so DEAD.
D-E-A-D. how dare you go on a spree without me!?!?!?
i'll let you make it up to me by bringing me on the next one. deal? ;D
yeap I was in Monash. Just finished. hahaa.. I can totally relate to your Taxation Law posts cause I think I did the same degree.. =D Ain't that a small world that I was bumming around and landed here..
Yeap, saw you walking out of Menzies !! I am staying in Clayton too !! and yea, I so can relate to the fact we are living in such a ulu town.
that's alright snob:) if i were you i won't sell it to me eitherrr. looking for a shirt dress but it's infuriating that they are all too short. how long is the one you got at the market? i have a white sportsgirl one that i've never worn and looking to sell cos it's way too obscene for me (i am 5'10)
xen: YESSHHHH!! I want to go shopping with you!! <33333
rach-el: Oh! I am doing a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Business Systems.. :P And wow, you've graduated already? Are you staying on for your PR? :) And oooooh, did Jonathan Teoh taught you for tax law? He shooo cuteee! :)
cass: *mouth drops agape* You're 5'10!!??? We can't be friends already... Haha! Crazy woman! What fantastic genes do you have??!! :P And erm, the shirtdress I got from the market is considered short, even on me... :(
And I've added you already, stop calling me a snob! :P
You bought soo many clothes T__T omg I wanna go there and shop too..Your pom pom dress is cute!
hahaa.. I did Bachelor of Commerce (Acct & Fin) .. =D not yet graduated still waiting for the oct convo. yeap. staying for PR. =D I love Melb too mch.. kekeke..
I did Tax like 2 years ago.. hehee.. I think they would have changed the lecturers already.. I only remember one of them, Ken something. =P Don't really like Tax Law. I barely passed it..
Omg u decimated Camberwell..
Omg u decimated Camberwell..
"how M'sians are real.. misers? Like, the only clothes they will give up are probably the moth-eaten and totally fugly ones... "
totally LOL-ed on that one XD
sarah: Haha, the pom pom dress, I actually had to borrow money from Smalls to buy it! I totally wiped my wallet dry that day (the market only accepts cash)! -_-
rach-el: Oooh, I am at the crossroad now, deciding whether to stay in melbourne or not.. :( And aah, since you have been here so long. recommend me places/things to go/do/eat! I want to do as much as I can before I graduate! :P
chor min: And I sayang you. :D
anon: Haha, it's TRUEEEE!! :P
