LOADS of random pictures.
New year's eve, which, coincidentally, was my mom's birthday.
We went to a chinese restaurant in Shah Alam, whereby my mom invited two tables.
See the necklace I was wearing? I made it! :)
Might blog about the new jewellery I made. =)
Sis with her blotchy boob (picture taken and posted with her permission).
Mandatory sisterly pic.
My dad asked us to try chinese tequila, whereby you suck on sour plums (instead of lemons ala western style).
Chinese tequila.
Cheers!
The chinese "tequila" was quite tasty, until....
Upon closer inspection...
I found out it was chinese cooking wine!!!
-________-
The restaurant that we went to, is one of the coolest chinese restaurants around. :)
The chef originates from Beijing, and he's just brimming with creativity.
The concept for our dinner that night: You budget a certain amount of money, and the chef would cook a ten course dinner for you, without you knowing of the menu-- you'll only find out what you're eating when the dish comes.
My dad saved his son before (my dad is a paedaetrician, no lar, don't have touching pendidikan moral story!), hence, the chef always give us VIP treatment. :)
Some funky dishes that we ate that day: Fried prawn dumplings with durian filling, deep fried kai lan strips, scallops wrapped in egg crepe, teo chew yam and pumpkin paste (dessert), and one of my favourite dishes there...
Chicken wings stuffed with glutinous rice!
The chicken wing is deboned, and then yummy fragrant fried glutinous rice is stuffed into the wing-- the chicken wings looked absolutely seamless!!!
Till this day, I have NO IDEA how he does it.
Mummy's birthday cake, which her best friend bought for her.
WHICH ODDLY ENOUGH, had parsley in it!!!!
o_O
I hate parsley, yuck.
Us, with mommy. :)
And we were bored...
Playing with color accents.
Mommy was so happy she gave Teeny a huge pucker! :P
Lunch with CPA club ex-committee members
Bella Italia, SS2.
In case you're wondering, I was a proud treasurer of the CPA club, most active club of Monash University for 3 consecutive years. :)
Kenhoong with his printed-on-shirt-silver-dog-tag.
I kept on wanting to reach over and touch it! :D
Me, with my silver heart tag. ;)
I've always love the pastas here, cheap and nice! =)
AND...
I found out that during lunch hour, you actually get a free iced lemon tea/soft drink and a soup of your choice!
DAMN value for money. :)
Mushroom soup with bruschettas and my free drink.
AHAHA! Linguine NONO!!
When I told Ken Hoong to order it, he shook his head, and said NONO to linguine NONO!!
HAHAHA.
Linguine MAMA MIA.
Marinara pasta, this place cooks the best marinara pastas.. :)
Burp! Then look pretty for picture.
(Ex-president and ex-treasurer)
The other couple in the club. Ai Ling, and Kenhoong.
Our ex-secretary called our CPA club-- Cari Partner Association, haha!
Secret Recipe and Oreo shake
A cookie shake and a sweetheat makes my day.
One Utama
We just got our allowance, which was why we hit the mall. ;)
I love my new Diva charm necklace from Singapore. :)
And I LOVE this pink ZARA hoodie knitted sweater that I was trying on!
So soft and comfy. :)
I wore it and refused to take it off-- I was just browsing around ZARA with the sweater on my back, with the price tag dangling out; I did'nt want to take it off!! :P
And I was dancing around my sister (who was paying at the counter), singing "Don't I look nice? Don't I look nice!" while other shoppers look on. *shy* ;)
Ms. Read
The Orea smoothie here is real good!
But a little on the pricey side at RM11.90.
Hehe, I love anything with cookies. :)
I definitely recommend Ms. Read's potato wedges, if you want somewhere to rest your feet and something to munch on!
At RM8.90 for a huge bowl, it's a steal. :)
Deep fried to perfection, it worth the calories!
You want some?
Teeny recommends eating the wedges with sour cream.
Her face said it all.
My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard... ;)
Sakae Sushi
Teeny was going to start college the following day (as in, first step into pre-uni-hood aka semi-adulthood), hence, we decided to go out, as part last fling, part celebration. :P
I prefer other sushi places, but we were really so broke (heh, we sort of maxed out our newly received allowance), so cheap sushi it was!
Teeny looking forlorn on starting school so soon.
Us, happy as a lark, with no worries of classes or studying.
HAHA.
And we got really crappy after that...
To cut the story short, Teeny wanted to know what exactly is an erection.
She thinks it an extension of the male genitalia.
-_-
A confused bunch.
Extension, NO?
Sex education time.
Some of the items used in the demonstration.
Use your imagination. ;)
Luckily there were no toilet cleaning ladies. ;)
Starbucks
I was so persistent on us sitting on couches, that I was dragging couches all over the shop. ;)
The big-girl-to-be and I.
Still adhering to our Japanese theme-- green tea frappuchino! ;)
I have just aged 20 million years just by uploading pictures.
*@#$ you, photobucket.
%@*& you, blogger.
Ending this post with one of my favourite pictures of the night..
Always aim for the moon.
The worst that could happen, you could fall into the stars.
Teeny,
happy being-a-big-girl.
Hope Taylor's treat you well. :)
