Singapore, more, more, MORE!

When your younger sisters have hipper social lives than you, you know you're in deep shit.

Left alone on a Saturday afternoon. Pfffft.

Singapore trip

Day 1:

On the way, in the bus.
Lousy pic, due to Jing's shaky hand.

Alot of people gave me plenty of "WHY???"s when I told them I was going to S'pore by bus.
Hello, it's expensive to go by plane, can?
And my dad did'nt follow (else it won't be a shopping trip!=p), so we could'nt drive.

I love me cushion.

This is where the four of us (mommy, 2 sisters and I) stayed in my aunt's house!
My cousin sister's room. She is currently working in some Arabian country (name unprononceable, so don't ask me, hee).
She's an architect, and I've always salivate after her rooms!!!!
(She changes her room design every few years or so).

And... :(

Before I further explain, let me tell you a little fact about myself.

I hate pokemon.

Another fact.
I forgot to bring my towel to S'pore.

So guess what???

An extra towel of my aunt's.

-________-

Day 2:

Aunt's apartment...

Fuiyoh, like camera ad.

Train station....

My favourite place in S'pore! :D

Hee, I like how it seems we are superimposed onto the picture! ;)

Yes yes, I know I am tiptoeing in the pic.

Ngee Ann City...

I am posting this pic purely 'cause my ear looks elf-ish here!!!
Come get me, Legolas! :P

Tis' the season to be sisterly!

All I want for Christmas is two big boobs.... :D

Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous.

While we were taking this picture, an LV salesgirl passed us, and she gave us the biggest o_O look!

Haha!
Sorry, we are shameless! :P

And after that, everything went downhill. :(

I got the worst period cramps EVER EVER EVER.
Like, the only other time I had a severe cramp was one day before my SPM (Chemistry)!!!

It hurt so bad I just sprawled myself on the toilet bow (thank goodness for clean S'pore public toilets).
It was so agonising I almost fainted in the toilet stall.
It was so torturing I kept on gagging and felt like puking (not 'cause my ahem, elimination was smelly larrrr).
It was so suffering that when my mom brought me to Coffee Club, one of my favourite places to eat in S'pore, I refused a single bite, as I had zero appetite. When my mom fed me, I just spat out whatever that was in my mouth. It was as if I could'nt stand to have anything in my mouth.
It ached so much that even after taking 2 panadols, the pain did not subside much.

My mom even bought 'fong yao' (minyak angin? How do you say it in English?), and as I was in too much pain to even walk to the toilet, I just reached under my dress in the middle of Coffee Club to rub the ointment on my tummy, while my mom hovered my sweater on top of my lap in an attempt to shield me.

Kinky, I know. ;)

In the end, I went back with my aunt first, while my mom and sisters stayed on to shop. :(

Luckily they got me an A/X sweater! Wahaha!

Anyway, on the same night, it was CRUUUIIISSSSE time!
Plentiful of shameless camwhoring pics...
But it's time to go out for dinner! Wagyu beef, yum yum! :P

More updates later! :)

Too much is not enough.

WALAO.

I SUPER SMART.

Photobucket failed me, so I signed up for Flickr!!!
And voila! Pictures' galore!!! :)

Ok, fine lah, I am lazy now, only got one picture. ;)

9 days.
Shopping escapades.

Part of our shopping purchases.

NOT ENOUGH! :P

Seeing red.

I AM SO FUCKING PISSED.

I can't seem to upload my pictures onto photobucket!!!
ARGHH ARGHH ARGHH.
So many pictures, but I can't blog.

:(

Wish me luck in shopping in S'pore, and you shall be blessed.

Okies, am going off to S'pore in 9 hours' time! :D

Most likely, I won't have any access to the internet, unless my 50-plus-years-old uncle and aunty at S'pore became hip and cool overnight and actually subscribe to some sort of internet connection.

Thus, I would like to spread some Christmas joy here first... =)

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!! :)

(By the way, that's Janice Dickenson (used to be on ANTM [one of the greatest TV shows alive!!! :D ] ), one of the world's first supermodel, and a feisty, feisty bitch. You gotta lurrrve her! :P)

And in case you miss me, while I shop to my heart's content....

Feast your eyes on MOI!!! :D

My new Barbie-like patent pumps. :)

Have a great holiday season!!!

MUAHHH!!! :)

Everyday eat only.

Yay! My holey pajama shorts are stitched back!

Upon closer look.

Oh shit, it's not.
Bah, better lah, airier. :P

*******************************

Am just posting shitloads of pictures taken with my reunited camera. :)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Just took back my camera, in the car.
First picture taken with the good-as-new camera!
Looking quite good, considered I woke up at 9 plus. ;)

Camwhoring in my room, while waiting for my sister to be done with her haircut...

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Jing, with her new haircut!
She's a damn bloody brave woman, she snipped off her waist-length locks for a stylish funky bob. :)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
HAWD.

Make me wanna cut also. ;)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The back of her hair.
It's longer in front, and shorter at the back.

Right before she went out to cut her hair, she camwhored with her long hair for "one last time"...

-_-

And I found one of her camwhore pics taken that day, of her chewing on her hair "seductively"!!!

-__-

I'll post it up if I can find it k. :P

Slutting with contrasting hairstyles.
Long and short lah, doink.

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Erm. I just got back my camera! :p

And guess where we went for dinner.
Vietnam Kitchen again.
'Cause my sister read my blog, and she felt like going. o_O

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
My avocado shake!
Stop staring at my sister's boobs.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Avocado, for good skin!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Lemongrass chicken chop.

Oh my goodness!! This is so EFFING GOOD.
The chicken is so flavorful, that it just burst into this little ball of FLAVORS on my tongue.
I think they feed the chicken lemongrass since it was a little chick...
How else could they explain how the meat tastes so FLAVORFUL???
I am so sorry for my lack of vocabulary, but it is the most appropritate word to describe it. :)
MMMmmm.

I wasn't feeling very hungry, and I thought what better way to aid my diet by ordering a salad.
BLAH.
Confirmed already, I am not a salad person.
Perhaps I asked for it too, 'cause I asked for no salad dressing on my salad.

I was eating so much tasteless greens that I felt like a rabbit.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Told you.

Met up with the boyfriend after dinner for Eragon.
And after that, food again!!!

Haih, my salad-eating efforts, wasted.

Chef Loong at SS2.
One of my favourite tong sui/dim sum places. :)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Chicken wrapped in fried rice vermicelli.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
And my favourite, favourite dish in Chef Loong!
Fried chee cheong fun.

SOoooOOOO good. Whenever I eat with my family, I have to order a second plate k! ;)

And guess what posh restaurant I went to the day after?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Murni. ;)

I've seen people eat the fried rice with the fried calamari rings, so I asked the waiter for it.

"Bang, saya nak, yang ada, err... errr... bulatan goreng..."

He gave me the o_O face.

"Um, itu, yang bulat-bulat, goreng-goreng punya...?"

He gave me the x.x face.

In the end, he asked, "ada sotong ring punya?", and he gave me the name of the fried rice, which I didn't catch 'cause I was too mortified.

This means that the next time I want to order the same fried rice, I have to go through the whole "bulatan goreng" procedure again! -_-

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
And the fried rice had too much dried chilli flakes!
Nonstop! I was fishing out the flakes from my fried rice.
I swear, one day they are gonna take over the world.

And finally, I got to satiate my dim sum craving this morning!! :)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The chinese restaurant at Federal Hotel, in KL.
Voted as one of the best dim sum places in KL.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I love the over-the-top chinese deco there.

Some of my much-missed dim sum dishes... :)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Egg tarts! Melt in your mouth mmm mmm mmm.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Nor mai kai (glutinous rice with chicken)! The last plate in the entire restaurant!
We were freaking lucky. :)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Porridge with minced pork and century egg.
I love how the porridge is so smoooooooooooth.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
And the classic dim sum of all times!! Siew mai. :)

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I was very satisfied!
*BURP*

Anyway, I am going to Singapore on Tuesday, and I'll only be back on the 27th.
I'll be leaving from S'pore for a cruise on Virgo (the ship larrrr) for a few days in between.

9 days, NINE OUTFITS!!!

STREEEEESSSSSS.

Or maybe I should just heed my sister's suggestion, and bring two pair of clothings, and buy the rest there.
Tee hee.

Why women shop.

I bought 3 pairs of shoes today.
I am a happy, happy girl. :)

Reasons for women to shop:

Fat already, need new clothes, 'cause the old ones don't fit.

Lost weight, need to reward self.

Sales, it makes economical sense to buy; imagine the money you'll save!

Expensive/luxurious/unaffordable items, good way to motivate self to work harder to obtain the item.

Sad, retail therapy, it really works.

Happy, it's a cause for celebration.

Vietnam makes good chinese pancakes too.

I am blogging now, because starting from tomorrow, I am going to get my beloved camera back!!

The tragic story: I asked my friend to take a pic of us at the beach in Sydney, and my other guy friends pounced on him!!!
He dropped the camera into the sand, and to cut it short, sand actually got into the camera, and the optical unit was spoiled. :(

The worst part is, I have to fix it with my own money, without letting my parents know about the repairs.
Long story, don't ask.
Have to cough out almost 400 bucks. :( :( :(

Ever since I got back from Aussie, I have been using my family camera, a Canon Powershot A700, a more canggih camera compared to my obsolete Canon Ixus40, but OH THE INCONVENIENCE.

There's always someone who wants to use the camera, and my dad has brought the camera to Rome for quite a couple of days, leaving our family high and dry, and many moments uncaptured (*cough* brother scratch butt *cough*).

But my baby is coming back into my arms tomorrow! :)

The other baby and I went to Vietnam Kitchen just now.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I always try to hog a seat at the private booths (the areas partitioned by the purple cheese-looking walls).

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
But the place was so full, I had to sit at the other side of the restaurant, against the wall.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The boyfriend's drink, it came free with his meal.
It had a really fancy name, something Romance, I think.
But it was basically crushed ice with Ribena!
But nicer than Murni's Ribena Special though. ;)

The drink came with a slice of lemon perched on the rim of the glass, and as the suspected culprit of the boyfriend's allergy was lemon, before the waiter could even place the drink on our table, his arm already swooped out to take away the lemon! ;)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
DIE LEMON DIE!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
My lemonless drink, red bean and mung bean special.
I love red bean!
But I don't like red bean as in the beans though, I like red bean paste. ;)

The boyfriend asked me what is mung bean.
You know the nyonya kuih, ang ku kuih? The red kuih stuck on a a piece of pandan leave.
The filling is mung bean! Which is actually grean bean paste. :)

They used to pile cendol on top of the drink, but they gave me green jelly this time!!!
You think I am blind, is it???

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
My chicken ball soup noodle.
Yes, I realise that the noodles can't be seen.
Trust me, I thought they gave me chicken ball soup at first too. -_-

The soup was very tasty, and the chicken balls were delicious too!
Except for the fact that the soup has small bits of parsley in it. YUCK YUCK YUCK.

But overall, a recommended meal of you feel like eating something healthy and non-oily! :)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The boyfriend's Riveria Chicken Salad.

The grilled chicken is omigod so fucking good!! And it tastes really similar to the salads in Chillis' and TGIF, definitely worth the RM13.90. :)

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
From topto bottom: Relatively sane and beautiful thank you very much; Pouts and smiles don't go.

And speaking about pouts, I AM SO FREAKING DISAPPOINTED.

Anyone who is anyone should know that I ADORE CHINESE PANCAKES.
You know, those usually served during Chinese weddings? With red bean or lotus paste filling.

And Vietname Kitchen sells seriously yummy chinese pancakes!
Or rather, they used to sell.

*runs amok and start breaking doors and televisions*

Heck, they served it with ice cream too k!

GRRRRRR.

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
From top to bottom: Sane couple with bahagia smiles baby why your smile so small; Look up ala bangs terkempit; Kissy wissy yay you are not a frog.

Okies, please admire the pictures taken with the other camera, and tomorrow MY CAMERA would be back in action yo! :P

Compliments are most welcomed!
