All about wardrobes.

GUESS WHATTTT!!! My mom bought me 2 wardrobes! :D :D :D :D :D

Is it obvious that this is what made me so happy yesterday, hehe. *sheepish*

It all happened in a whirlwind!

Let me start at the very beginning wtf. It's incredibly shallow of me, but I have been feeling rather down since a few months ago. Besides the obvious causes such as being away from home, being cooped up in a job that I don't love, being fat WTF... I always find myself very troubled because I have too much clothes. -__- I know I know, it seems like such a silly, frivalous reason! But it's really quite saddening to go back home, open my bedroom door with flourish, and find myself facing mountains and mountains of mess. Even my maid has given up tidying up my room. -__-

I have blogged about the severity of the condition of my room before, but believe it or not, it has gotten worse. :( 'Cause firstly, obviously I have bought more things since then; and secondly, it's a vicious cycle-- I will go back to KL, make a mess of my room; leave my room in a mess to go back to S'pore; come back to KL and can't find anything and make a bigger mess. -__- I love dressing up, but lately I find that I don't know where all my things are! I don't even remember what I bought, and I hate that. Even my mom has given up nagging me to unpack my things from my boxes or luggage bags, simply because there is no space to unpack the things to!

So when Jing told me one day that Mommy could take it no longer, and that she is going to get us more cupboards, I literally squealed in joy! :D 'Cause I was already planning to buy myself some wardrobes as a birthday present to myself WTFF.

When I was discussing with my Mom last weekend what cupboards I want (how many wtf), she suggested getting this children wardrobe for me (in a 2 door version) which matches my room. I knew instantly which one she was talking about, 'cause it was my dream when I furnished my room a few years ago. But we simultaneously exclaimed, "But cannot la, too small", hahaha. Ya la, I have to forego my fantasy for practicality. *noble* She was quite adamant to get me a huge huge wardrobe, so I suggested removing all the furniture in my room except for my bed WTF. I also suggested putting a wardrobe in my shower area, but she ignored me, harrumph.

Anyway, surprise surprise, on a whim yesterday, my mom bought us the wardrobes! She got me two white 2-door wardrobes, which I am really happy about! But Jing, ever the bubble-popper, told me solemnly that the wardrobes wouldn't be able to fit my clothes. -___- I don't believe it! I am sure I can organise everything! *gung-ho* Now my bedroom has a total of an 8-door wardrobe! In fact, if I include my closet space in S'pore, I will have 12 doors altogether! I don't believe that my clothes cannot be fit into all these space! *ruffled* And omg, I am another step closer to my dream of a walk-in wardroom ('cause a built-in wardrobe is too small, I need a wardROOM or better yet a wardHOUSE WTFFF)!

I am such a nerd, 'cause I am really looking forward to going back home next weekend to organise my clothes and put them in their new home! :D

*************************************

I have an announcement to make! But it's not that new a..news wtf. Some of you may have known it already, but my sisters and I have opened up a site to sell our second-hand/unworn clothes. :)

Meet Boudoir-Boudoir. A collaboration between Jing, Teeny, Josh (from Lacquer and Lace) and me. :)

Boudoir-Boudoir is pronounced as 'budua-budua', and is French for dressing room/drawing room/wardrobe. :) The concept is for you girls to rummage through our wardrobe, which is the best way of treasure-hunting, I feel! :P I am sure any one of you with girlfriends or sisters can vouch to that. :P

At the moment, the site is a little dead, 'cause we didn't coordinate our 'opening act'. *glares at sisters wtf* But I have just posted my first entry, and we need you girls to keep the site alive! The more 'rummaging' that goes on there, the more of our goodies we will post. ;)

So what are you waiting for! QUICK, go to Boudoir-Boudoir !

****************************************

Teeny said there was a minor earthquake in Melbourne just now. T___T

So I thought of her and hence will blog about her WTFF.

I don't have many unblogged pictures of Teeny left. :( But judging from how backlogged my entries could be sometimes, I suspect that by the time I finish posting Teeny's pre-Melbourne pictures, she'd be back for summer break already. -_-

Anyway! One of our GNOs. :) I love GNOs with my sisters, 'cause when we say dress-up, we really go all out. :P My mom always complain that we overdress! But then we would remind her that it's much better to have daughters who care about their appearance, then daughters who are sloppy; and she will grudgingly agree. :P

Teeny, my pretty baby.
Lesson #101: Always shrink behind people to make your face looks super small, and make your companion's face look 3x bigger in contrast wtf.

Jing, who looked like a french maid that day, HAHA.

We were at the Daily Grind, which I have blogged about here. I think my appetite has grown since the last time I went there! During my last visit, I found their burgers to exceedingly enormous, and I could barely finished it. This time around, I licked the last morsel off my plate and was like, "that's all?". T_T

Smiley and sultry.

Things have felt very empty since Teeny went away! T_T We are pieces of a burger-- Jing and Teeny are each a piece of bun, and I am the patty because I was born in the year of Ox and I am a Taurusean as well WTF-- we can't live without each other. T__T

Outfits:

Being tall has so many merits! For example, you can wear flats out for GNOs. T_T

The french maid who has never done any housework before. :P

Pale pink ruched bustier toga dress: Valleygirl
Studded belt: Zara
Studded bangle: Sister's
Nude patent pumps with wooded wedge: Space, Singapore

I got the dress for only AUD9.95! :P It's a little too big for me, so I cinched it in with the belt, and also adjusted the length so that it's longer at the back, for an assymetrical feel. I love bargains! :D

Wheeee wardrobe organising next weekend!

Kiss.. A Ten?

Yesterday, the boyfriend said that since I was on MC, I had to take an exam. -__-

insidious embodiment: go read and learn football since u are on MC

insidious embodiment: its your footballing education bee.

insidious embodiment: very important.

insidious embodiment: tonight when we talk, got test

insidious embodiment: i shall ask u questions..

insidious embodiment: better go study

insidious embodiment: if fail ur cross-exam tonite.. you are punished to watch 40 action movies of my choice with me.

insidious embodiment: boom.!!! bang bang.!!! kill.!! slash slash slash.!!!! hiyaaakkkk.!!! flying kick.!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA sometimes I am speechless when it comes to the boyfriend. :P

****************************************

Haven't done this with the boyfriend for some time-- going around trying new places for food. :P

We went to Kissaten at Jaya 1!

Couldn't resist-- implication of sitting right next to a mirror wall. :P

Localised drinks for us:

Iced royal milk tea for me.

Iced white coffee for the boy.

Spot the buttock! -_-

Our food:

Cream sauce pasta with roast chicken, for the boyfriend, who is the biggest Italian food fan.

A soupy Ramen for me! 'Cause I already felt I was falling sick then. :(

I thought the egg was really cool-- it was like 1/3 boiled? The yolk was still runny, and the whites were wobbly (yet solid)! I had fun playing with it, haha.

A really unique dish: stuffed gyoza wings!

Mmm, this comes highly recommended!

For more reviews on Kissaten, go to here. Our food was so-so, but the snack (the stuffed wings) were terrific! So were our drinks. :) We were too full to tackle desserts, but the boyfriend and I made a pact to go back there for coffee and desserts one of these days, which is what Kissaten is quite renown for as well. If you didn't know, Kissaten means Cafe! :)
And I am dying to try their Char Siew pizza. :P

If you happy and you know it, clap your hands... :P

Greedy grubby girl!

Haha, actually, the iced white coffee was a little too thick, whereas my iced milk tea was slightly flat; so I came up with the perfect remedy! Drink 'em together wtf. Yin Yong wtf.

And look what the boyfriend got me! T____________T

A sunflower as big as my head wtf. T_________T

I am the most unromantic girl in the world. We were at a newsstand, and I was looking at cheap old issues of magazines to buy. Engrossed, suddenly I found a bouquet of bright yellow flowers poked right in my face.

"Surprise!" The boyfriend said.

Then I don't know why, but I just assumed that he took it from the shop (like one of the book racks or something), and told him "why you so cheapo wann!"
I really thought he just took a deco or something and was playing with me! T___T

Then he got super emo. T___T Then I had to persuade him and made him understand that I really am that stupid wtf.
Why am I such a bad girlfriend ar.

The boyfriend said that he got me yellow sunflowers 'cause it matches my black dress! Does he think I am a bee WTF. He also said that I am the sunshine of his life la. :D

Outfit:

Black dress with sheer lace front and trimmings: Collins St, Melbourne
Hairband with white felt camellia corsage: Singapore
Pearl cuff with diamante: Forever 21

Gray patent pumps with black bows: Macao

I still remember, years ago wtf, there was once the boyfriend and I fought in KLCC, and I stormed off into the toilet. After steaming over in anger and splashing water on my face in an attempt to 'cool off', I stepped out of the washroom and saw my boyfriend standing there, holding a bouqet of sunflowers, waiting for me. :P

***************************************

I am very very happy now!!! GUESS WHYYYY!!!
Clue: It's something quite out of the norm. ;)

Winner gets a virtual polka dot dress wtf.

When girls get together...

I am on MC today! Thanks to the bag of Smith's potato chips (that dad brought back from Melbourne) which Jing and I shared at 4am in the morning while sharing about shopping mantra and ambitions to take over the world, I have a bad sore throat (green phlegm!) and slight fever.

Being sick is a glorious thing when you are working wtf. *weeps in joy*

I had a lot of (shopping) fun back home this weekend! So much so that the moment I reached Singapore last night, I started clicking on budget airline sites to sought for cheap tickets to go home this weekend. T_T But the cheapest tickets I could find was SGD200 for one way. T_T

Jing and I went shopping on Saturday, a much welcomed reprieve after my self-imposed shopping ban which lasted for an eternity wtf.

Jing, with her new fierce studded heels!

When she showed me the shoes in real life (she has shown me the shoes countless time online, to get my approval and blessing wtf), she held up the shoes to my face and went "Roarrr Roarr Roarrr". 'Cause fierce wtf. -___-

Moi!

I have never been one to follow seasonal trends per se, I dress based on my whims and fancies. BUT, all those spring ads and catwalk shows have made me have a very deep yearning for colors and floral prints! :D

Black floral corser with hooked back and assymetrical hem (tucked in): Miss Selfridge Gold/marigold yellow poofy skirt: Tea & Sympathy
Tan mary janes: River Island
Peach lace bow and cameo brooch hair clips: Singapore

Pearl headband (worn around wrist): Accesorize

Peach vintage rope bracelet with charms: Thrifted

It's the first time that I was wearing this Miss Selfridge corset, but imagine, I actually bought it a good whole 2-3 years ago! :O I still remember, back then I was so in love with this top then I always go into Miss Selfrige just to look at it longingly... and then go back home to cast joss sticks for it to go on sale WTF. In the end, I took the plunge and bought the top, though it's way more pricier than what I am usually willing to pay for clothes. Then I went to Melbourne and saw the same top selling for AUD10 (about RM30). -_____- So I bore a grudge against the top and never wore it WTF.

We went to Pavilion, 'cause Jing wanted to do some designer window shopping with me.

Us at Dome, with really bright lighting so it made us look so fair. /boo

I was starving when we reached Pavilion (at about 2pm), 'cause work has conditioned me to have lunch at 12pm everyday wtf. But Jing didn't let me eat, and insisted that we go to Topshop (sale!) first. T_T According to her, "shop before anything and everything!" -_-

Dome in Pavilion had this old fashioned high back armchairs which I really like! :)

And which were really useful too. *eyes dart left and right*
The skirt that I was wearing was really really tight, and I kept on feeling that the button at the back will burst out anytime. -_- So the high back armchair came in handy! 'Cause at least if I burst out of the skirt, the button won't pop out and hit the guy sitting behind him and kill him instaneously wtf.

Not breathing in the skirt.
During the day, I kept on thinking how nice it would be if I was a frog, then I could just breath through my skin instead of having to heave breaths WTF.

Jing and I had identical meals: iced honey green tea and chicken sandwiches (avocado, chicken and cheese for me, and cajun chicken for her).
Btw, the iced honey green tea in Dome is really, really good!

Gluttons at work. :)

I went quite crazy in Topshop! =/ Jing looked at me in envy, 'cause she is on a 'shopping ban'; of course, I use that term loosely for her, haha.
She also gave me disapproving looks, to which I defended myself, "I haven't shopped since new year!" She was just going to reply me that how could I not have shopped since Chinese New Year, when I nodded at her seriously, "I haven't shopped since NEW YEAR, as in, 2009!!" Haha, the look of horror at her face! :P After that she gave me a reassuring hug and said I am strong wtf. :P

And hahahah something super silly happened in Topshop! Y'see, the skirt I was wearing was really short, so I wore a pair of boy-cut shorts underneath. But when we left the changing room, I forgot to put it back on, hahaha! Luckily while Jing was bundling all the clothes we tried on to return to the SA,she found it! I was already halfway out of the changing room when she dangled it in front of me, barely containing her spurt of giggles! I let out a gasp of horror, and we quickly collapsed into the changing room, shaking with laughter, hahaha. Imagine if I just walked out of Topshop without wearing back the shorts!!! The following scenarios would occur:

1) During the day I would be complacent and simply bend and squat and cross my legs, 'cause I would have thought I had my safety shorts underneath, when I actually didn't, so everyone will get to see my undies. T_T
2) The Topshop SA will hold up my shorts and bewilderingly ask all the other SAs which collection does the shorts belong to HAHHAHAHHA.

We also had emergency tea sessions, for us to cool down, and decide whether or not to buy those things we were eyeing. :P

The Olive Tree, right outside the huge-ass F21 outlet in Pavilion.

Pick-me-up coffee time! I am addicted to caffeine, me thinks. :(

Super bimbo Jing.

We were talking about bags, and debating what to buy, when to buy etc. I told her, "Imagine, you buy this bag now, and 20 years later, it is a gorgeous vintage bag for your daughter. Imagine how proud she would be, to be able to borrow such a beautiful collectible, a vintage collectible!" Then the woman started getting teary-eyed and told me that then she should get the bag right now "for her daughter's sake" WTFFF. HAHAHHAHAHA.

Sisters. :)
And that is not my boy shorts! It is the lining of my skirt. *shy*

Something we haven't done in sometime-- camwhore shots in the restroom. :)

Besides the things I got from Topshop, I also got a mini-mini haul from F21-- just some accessories. But my favorite buy of the day would be this:

On impulse. :)

It's a hairclip! I just can't resist the classy bow. :P

A small purchase to brighten up my gray working days. A little pick-me-up during peak period. :P And I think there are many ways to wear this, so I foresee that I can get a pretty good mileage out of this item. No regrets! :)
