Christmas dinner outfit.

My only (official) Christmas dinner was a triple date dinner on Boxing Day. It ended with a 5-hour long karaoke session-- the final ending note was KRU songs, haha.

Since it's a Christmas dinner, I know I definitely want to look somewhat festive! But still something easy (and preferably loose 'cause I want to eat to my heart's content).

I reached out for one of my favorite pieces from AZORIAS-- a gold-tipped white shirt that I've been salivating after it took streetstyle blogs by a storm.

I knew I like the shirt, but I really, really LOVE it when I put it on! The shirt is so deceptively simple, but the simple gold engraved tips really has this incredible ability to make you look stylish and pulled-together without trying too hard. I dare to say so 'cause I saw outfit pictures of a few AZORIAS customers wearing this shirt, and they all look amazing!

I am definitely bringing it to Tokyo next week (did I mention, I am going to Japan for 1 week? :P)

Surprisingly (even to myself wtf), my outfit was some sort of anti-thesis to Christmas-- I kept it to strictly black and white, with hints of gold (that's my festive cheer!). Maybe it's because I went full-on red and green for actual Christmas Day itself.

Using my mom's rabbit fur clutch from Calvin Klein. Although it's the second time I've used it (first time was for NAPBAS-- if you all remember from my post here), it's turning yellow rapidly because people just can't stop touching it. T__T

Gold-tipped collar shirt: AZORIAS
Black staightcut jeans: Just Jeans, Australia
Diamante earrings (not shown): H&M
Black/gold jewel bracelet: Korea
White/ gold thin enamel bangle: F21
Gold diamante bow ring: Holiday in Zhuhai
Suede platform heels with gold trimmings: Topshop
Rabbit fur clutch with bejeweled clasp: Calvin Klein

Was reminiscing about 2011 with Jing, and well, what have I got to say, except that 2011 has been really, really kind to me. :) Happy new year in advance, everyone! Thank you for sticking by with me all these years, and I am excited for more adventures in 2012!

Identical.

Guess who is back?

Hoe sisters all reunited!
Havoc for the family, but I know my parents secretly love it, hehehe.

Outfit details in another post. But all I've got to say is, the festive season sure makes me want to wear sparkly shiny things all the time! :P

Ending this post with a candid picture that amuses me to no end:

Check out the identical crossed left leg, and unaware tossing of our hair using the same hand...

No one can doubt that we are sisters, haha!

Mermaid glitter.

How was your Christmas?

Mine was spent catching up with Jing (back from Aussie!)-- we yakked for more than 7 hours. Also met my best friend halfway through our lunch and we ended up joining tables and then we all yakked together, hehe.

I read this Christmas tweet on X'mas day and it went something like this: "This Xmas may you be in company of people you call family, whether the one you were born with or the one you made".

Halfway through the day the quote came into my head, and I smiled, 'cause I had both with me. :)

Outfit from my Singapore weekend:

White tee: Korea
Mermaid glitter skirt with deep slit: AZORIAS
Black leather belt with metal tip: Korea
Amethyst prism pendant: Gift from Teeny
Silver choker: Korea
Silver mesh ring: Gift from Teeny
Hematite beaded bracelet with matte gold pendant: ASOS
Black suede platforms: Topshop
Bag: Miu Miu

Posting one last festive picture! I love the way this skirt glitters and catches light... It reminds me of those colored glitter that I used to play with as a kid... Remember how you used it for school projects, and somehow more glitter always end up on you than on your project? :)

Put it on my tab.

Sponsored post

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Taken outside Ion Orchard, Singapore.

So I was in Singapore last weekend, and I am currently working on a blog post about the things that I bought there, nyehehe. *dedicated blogger mode*

But just as a teaser, I am going to show you a very pretty buy from Singapore:

Can you guess what it is?

I am sure many of you are going to guess it's a clutch.. a tissue bag (??)... But maybe if you have a look at the content, you will have a better idea! ;)

It's actually the new home of my Samsung Galaxy Tab!

One of its cases is this snake print faux leather envelope clutch:

Also, if you remember my video here, I managed to fit the Tab into my mom's vintage YSL clutch.

I always love shopping for new stylish cases for it, and because it's so thin and sleek, I can literally get a clutch, and the Tab would fit perfectly into it!

And Samsung has just upped its game once again-- releasing the Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 8.9 (mine is the 10.1 inch one)-- a slightly smaller, lighter version!

Read my post here and watch my video to see the features that I love about my Tablet. Other key features of the new Tab are:

- Android 3.1 (Honeycomb)
- 8.9” touch screen display
- 1.5GHz dual-core processor
- 2MP front camera, 3MP rear camera
- Thinner (8.6mm)
- Lighter (453g)
- 16GB internal memory
- Supports Wi-Fi and 3G

Get the new Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 8.9 with Celcom with really affordable affordable packages, from as low as RM1,288 (RRP: RM1,699):

In addition to the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 above, there’s also the Samsung Galaxy Tab (7”) from as low as RM668, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 from as low as RM1,468.

Visit www.celcom.com.my/smartphones for more information on the entire suite of Samsung Galaxy Tab choices.

Can't wait to be on the go with my beloved Tab and my new pretty case! <3

Really lousy picture from my Blackberry:

Can you guess the theme color of my outfit? Most people got it wrong. ;)

More pictures coming soon, I promise! At the moment, I need to pack for a really impromptu trip to Singapore-- Wicked, here I come!

Santa baby.

On the day of my return flight (which was yesterday), it was snowing quite heavily, so much so that our Korean friend (who fetched us to the airport, at 4am, bless his kind soul) commented that the flight may be cancelled. And I was thinking inwardly, nooooooo I wanna go home! I don't want to be stuck with snow and a -5 degrees weather. T___T

But all my worries were for nothing, because I AM HOME! :D

I had a pretty glorious first-day-back-home after being away for 2 weeks. Had a much-needed 12-hour-long sleep-- although I did wake up every 2 hours. This is because I rarely slept during my last week in Korea, and my body just doesn't know when and how to rest anymore. -_- And a yummy seafood lunch that is really too sinful for lunch. And birthday cake after that! Cake is always good, mmm. Shopped around a bit, and found a dress that I may want to wear for the Nuffnang awards this Friday-- even the boy approved of the dress. But I forlornly put it back on the racks because it was out of my budget. And came home to find that my mom is a member of the boutique and she has a 25% discount voucher for her birthday this month! :D :D :D

Went to Bubba Gump for the first time, and OD-ed on prawns for the second time today, and had the boyfriend laughed at me as I watched a little too intently at the sex scene in the Forrest Gump movie that was playing in the background. I haven't watched Forrest Gump before, can you believe it? But my friend has enlightened me with his version of the popular Forrest Gump quote: "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know when you will get a piece of shit" WTFFFF

I also received my first Christmas present today! Something small from Teeny, just a souvenier from her trip to Singapore recently, but yayyy! Went to 2 different malls and got more blasts of Christmas cheer. I LOVE Christmas decorations, and always look forward to seeing what the different X'mas deco in different malls. I can tick KLCC and the Curve off my list at the moment, and am most looking forward to seeing Midvalley's and Pavilion's! Which mall's X'mas display is your favorite this year? :P

I also made a pact to post more outfit pictures so here goes:

Japanese lunch at Saujana resort one fine Saturday.

Looking at this picture makes me sad, because I lost my House of Harlow bangle on this day. :(((( It's the one I was wearing here. :'(

Gold glitter skirt from AZORIAS! I am in the mood for anything sparkly and glittery nowadays. :D

Chilling by the river (although it'a little murky wtf) is really awesome.

Knitted tank with scalloped trimmings: Vintage
Gold paperbag skirt: AZORIAS
Gold plated necklace: H&M
Multicolor beaded tassel bangle: Korea
Diamante chains with tassels: Korea
Silver bead bracelet: Sportsgirl, Australia
Leopard print ponyhair wedges: Alexander Wang
Clutch: Miu Miu

Also found out today that tomorrow is a public holiday! Oh, life is truly wonderful. Another day to sleep in, and oh, maybe slot in a massage! Mmm. :)

Off to indulge in my Christmas mood.. Santa Baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight~~

First snow of the year.

It's snowing in Korea today!

I have seen snow before, but it was yonks ago... And the first wave of snow is always the prettiest! As light as feathers, and vanishing into the air the moment it hits the pavement...

I was having a silly grin on my face, and it took all my willpower to not try to catch a snowflake on my tongue. :P

It's the last day of my trip today! Two weeks literally came and went in a blink of an eye. A really intense 2 weeks, but a really productive trip it is. The direction of where we are heading to is becoming clearer, and I can't wait to get home for a brainstorming session with the partners.

In less than 24 hours I will be boarding the plane home, and I really, really can't wait to go home to the boyfriend (poor boy was admitted into the hospital whilst I was away.. T____T)! Plenty of exciting, happy things happening in the next 2 months, and I will be updating you guys very soon (hint: holidays!)!

See you in Malaysia! :D

Underwater.

Am in a really cheery mood now, after sipping on a mug of hot mocha whilst listening to Christmas songs. Ultimate bliss. There isn't anything that coffee cannot make better! Or cupcakes. Or ice cream. Or chocolate chip cookies. I am getting carried away here, but you get my drift.

Am feeling very inspired from this trip, which is a major 'yay' moment from me. For some reason, lately I just seemed to have lost the zest for dressing up, and have also started hating everything in my wardrobe. -_- I tend to always rewear the same things because it just seems easier to reach for the first thing on my shelf, and on most days I feel like a pale version of the old me (dressing-wise). Dressing myself seems more like a chore than an enjoyment like it used to be.

I guess we all go through phases like that.. Right? What about you girls? :)

The good thing is, that phase has came to end for me, I *think*! My brain is constant filled to the brim with styling ideas, and every Tumblr image that I come across ignites a little ball of excitement in the pit of my tummy... Next post I will blog about the stuff I bought during this trip, okay? :P

Since I am talking about personal style and clothes, it only seems apt to make this an outfit post! Wearing one of my favorite blouses ever, with a stunning digital print that is part underwater mystic, part reptilian magic.

I am not usually a pants person, but I couldn't resist this utilitarian chic skinny pants-- at a mind-boggling price (less than RM30)! I am a bargain hunter through and through. :D

Everything went really well with my royal blue glittery nails! I am thinking yellow next.

Sheer digital print buttoned-up: Singapore
Khaki skinny pants with zipper details: Korea
Gold choker: Korea
Rings: YSL/ H&M
Silver bead bracelet with turquoise stones: ASOS
Electric blue velvet pumps: Holiday in Zhuhai
