The one with a heart on the mocha.

Christina Aguilera cancelled her concert last night. :(
So far, there has been no further news regarding any reschedules. Arghhh. I really hope everything turns out right, 'cause I really, really want to see her in performance. =(

***********************************************

We talked about savory pancakes at Paddington's pancakes at dinner today... So, here we go! :P

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
One of those days, when we were hungry and craving for something yummy.
(And didn't mind paying a heftier price).

In fact, for those of you who thinks that Paddington's is expensive, they actually have pretty good set meals-- recently launched, I think! They have different sets for lunch, tea, dinner, and supper, and the menu differs each day! They actually incorporate actual pancakes from their ala carte menu (which sometimes could cost over twenty ringgit), unlike some restaurants which serve rubbish as set meals. The pancake + a drink cost around RM13.90, which is altogether really affordable! :)

Badly drawn eyeliner. :(

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Eh, Jing, why do you look like a different person here!!!
And my orthodontist will freak if he sees my teeth now.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And Teeny looking pissy.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Looking at what Teeny was so engrossed over.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And lookie! My mocha! Cute heart pattern!
I think it was the waiter's pick-up line la. *perasan*

And it matched my top! :D

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Just to show you that we can pose with anything.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Sisterly love. :)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Being very careful while stirring, 'cause I didn't want to disturb the pretty pattern.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And Teeny looking pissed.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Smalls, this is how the savory pancakes are like!
Jing's pancakes with salami, hash browns, cheese sausages and gravy.

Extremely delicious, (I suspect partly also 'cause it was the only savory platter we had), it was amazing how well pancakes, hash browns and sausages go together as a burger (yea, we 'kiap' them together, haha)! But it was horribly expensive though, RM23.90, if I am not mistaken, so it might not be value for money.

And yea, the reason why Jing ordered such an exorbitantly priced dish was 'cause I paid for the meal. -_-

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
My pancakes with caramelised bananas, ice cream and the FABULOUS CHOCOLATE HONEYCOMB BUTTER!

Seriously, the next time you don't know what to order in Paddington's, just pick anything with the chocolate honeycomb butter. Seriously out of the world.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Teeny's double chocolate belgium waffle wrap thingy.

Very, very rich. Not really my thing, 'cause surprise, surprise, I actually don't like chocolate that much.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And Teeny looked pissy (even while eating).

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Us again.
The waiters really entertained themselves well looking at us camwhored. -_-

I am telling you, that place is overstaffed!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
HAHAHA, look at how poser I was!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This is obviously a heavily Photoshopped picture, courtesy of Jing. -_-

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Victory! Told you we are big eaters.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I have a weird fetish for tickling people with my hair.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
EH FUCK YOU JING WHAT'S WITH YOUR EXPRESSION.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
My thoughts exactly.

PS: All I have been doing (and want to do) these few days is watch Project Runway. Done with Season 3, tackling season 2 now.

And I know there are plenty of pictures, pretty narcissistic ones at that, but looking at these pictures make me happy. :)

Potter-mania.

Someone else was sick besides me.

Christina Aguilera.

Yes, she's not well, and she has postponed tonight's concert to tomorrow. And though my flatmates are less than thrilled by this news, I am secretly quite happy, 'cause today, I am just not in the shape to enjoy the concert. :(

Aiming to feel better by tomorrow though. *hopeful*

***************************************

As promised, my wizardry day on 21st July, i.e. debut of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, only one of the biggest, most significant days for Harry Potter fans all over the world.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Are you ready for the wizarding world?
Hee, I think my stance in this picture is straight out of a movie poster! :D

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
My outfit for the day.
The black cloak is actually Teeny's blanket, heehee. It was a bitch trying to snatch the blanket from her tight clutches (while she was still sleeping) that morning k!

But I didn't wear the cloak around, it was too hot.

And yea, it seems kind of sad, I went with Jing's friends, 'cause all my friends are too old for Harry Potter apparently. -_- And we were the only ones to dress up! But it's ok, for Harry Potter we would do anything! *filled with pride*

The plan was to march to Tesco, as the book was selling for RM69.90, and what I am sure all of you have known by now, the price war between the hypermarkets and M'sia's major book chains. Which, by the way, I so want to spurt a river of swear words to the blasphemy of some people which actually frowned upon buying from these hypermarkets. "Lose its glamour", they say. WHAT THE FUCK. The books priced at RM109.90 are more special is it? They can dance on table tops and whistle and chime is it???? Their ignorance really nauseate me, for it's well known that price wars would always benefit the consumers.

And don't let me get started on people who are so keen to spoil the book for other readers. WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? What kind of sick satisfaction do you seek??? Putting spoilers in blogs, in comments, in MSN nicknames... Or even hinting about it in conversations, threatening to tell you the ending. Gah, it's people like this who made me shunned the cyberworld till I finished my book. It's people like this who made me rushed through my book just so that NO ONE could spoil the book for me. I couldn't even savor the book properly! :( FUCK YOU ALL BASTARDS.

And the worst thing is, Jing (after finishing the book) went online and saw an acquaintance of hers putting spoilers in his MSN nickname, so she messaged the guy and told him off. She then mentioned that luckily she has finished the book, if not he would be soooo dead, and he had the nerve to answer back "That's too bad! I am too late in spoiling it for you."

WHAT THE FUCK YOU TELL ME. People like this should be burnt on stakes. And fed to dogs. And to have their toes cut off with nail clippers. ARGHHH.

And and and. I just can't stand people who are smug about reading the leaked copy of the book. If you do not know, the leaked version is actually photos taken of each page of the book, and made into many, many JPEG files!!! How sad is that!!! And people who read this leaked copy actually have the cheek to be SMUG. Oh my god. It's the most pathetic thing I can think of, please!

Anyway, I digress.

Jing and I at Teso, with a lone wizard.
It's hard to find our type in the Muggles' world k.

And we have pets too! :)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Scabbles, my baby rat.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And this is Nivea and her pet toad, HAHAHAHA.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
We even have school badges on-- Hogwarts yo!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Witches have to study hard too k.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
We went prepared, quill and parchment-- how cool is that!! :D

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Who should I blast spells at today...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Jing and her broom!
She was supposed to climb onto it, but there were too many people around. -_-

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I blasted the rock into small pieces!!

Damn funny, this man walked past while we were snapping shots and waving our wands crazily, and he asked us, "Can make a prince charming come out ar??" :P

And I was really pleased with our 'costumes' and props that day! I couldn't imagine it being any better. :)

After Tesco, we zoomed to Kinokuniya for we heard that the bookstore has actually made a Gryffindor entrance, complete with the Fat Lady and all! :) :) :)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The Fat Lady in her picture.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And us in the picture too! :D

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Accio Scabbles and lencana sekolah.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Bimbo witches.

And I had this idea of pushing all my hair in front to take a picture and to caption it "Hairy Potter", but I forgot... And now that my hair is so short, I can never do it again! :'(

All in all, it was an amazing experience. :) I know there are those who called the people who actually queued up for the book "stupid", but Jing and I both simultaneously felt that this being the last book in the installment, we owed it to our undying passion for Harry Potter. ;) And if we don't do it now, we'll never ever get to queue up for another Harry Potter book again!

I have finished the book last Monday, and needless to say, it was a page-turner in every sense; and all I can say is that J.K. Rowling is simply a brilliant writer, simply amazing. I am looking forward to reading the book a second time, 'cause that's the beauty of the Potter series, you could re-read and re-read the book, and each time, you would be just as mesmerized; and sometimes you may discover some detail you may have missed previously. :)

That, I didn't really understand the ending. -_- But thank god, I have Smalls' copy just next door. ;) My copy is being held hostage by my brother because he said I am too old to hold a kids' copy of Harry Potter wtf.

Thank you, Ms. Rowling, you have brought me much joy in these 9 years. :)

PS: If you do not understand any of the things I mentioned about Harry Potter, go read the book! You won't regret it! :)

LONG LIVE HARRY POTTER!

A huge Harry Potter fan.

Rocker trauma.

I met Victoria in uni today, and she told me that I looked Japanese.

I was going to wave my hands dismissively and accept the compliment graciously, when she continued on...

"... yeaa, like a Japanese rocker."

-_________________________-

Japanese girls, I can take, the general consensus is that they look like this!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

But JAPANESE ROCKERS???

They generally look like that!!!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Oh god, just kill me.

**************************************************

I am sick now. Like, really, really sick.
Haven't been this sick since... a year ago? :(
Based on instructions from my dad (he's a doctor la), I have been popping about 8 pills a day.
Won't be surprised if I die from OD. -_-
And what with the concert looming so closely tomorrow, this is seriously bad timing. :'(

Warning: Do not scroll further down if you haven't finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

PS: For all Harry Potter fans, click here to have a glimpse of detailed account of Harry Potter's future (i.e., further details on the epilogue!!!) But DO NOT CLICK ON IT IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISH THE BOOK!
They have such a bright future... *dabs at eyes furiously*

Mini update.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Since the last time I blogged back home, so much has happened-- the launch of the final Harry Potter book, a new haircut (I look like a boy! :'( ), a new camera, a scandalous(-sounding) overnight stay at the hotel, a new shift in future goals and plans.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
My new haircut.
It's so short! =(

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Bird's eye view wtf.

*************************************

The first day back in Melbourne is okay, thought I cried a teeny weeny bit before going to sleep last night. I hate the settling down period when I come back here, there are so many things to do: bills and fees to pay, bags to unpack, books to buy, gym membership to renew, re-stocking of groceries, and 2 weeks of missed classes to catch up. But being busy is good, ay? Less time to think of home, less time to feel sad. And it's easier to just fall into the pattern of being away.

And I woke up at 3pm today. -_____-
But after some careful reflecting, I realised it was only 1pm back home! Which is just about the time I usually wake up, hee.

Thank god for the three flatmates. Somehow laughter and the constant jabber makes things easier.
And all else fails, I always have Christina Aguilera's concert on Saturday to look forward to! ;)

The people that I love most back home (excluding the annoying prat of a brother and my doting grandparents):
(pics from the night before I left, at Max!)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Teeny, who didn't get to send me off 'cause she had classes, but whom send me a sweet text message before I took off, alongside the reminder for me to pester my parents to bring her to my graduation. -____-

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Mommy and Daddy.
Mommy who wore a really cool smock that I am itching to borrow, and Daddy with one expression for all pictures.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Mommy again.

She was really nice to me the whole month I was back. Not one bit of nagging although my room looked like it was visited by three hurricanes for four times. Let's just cross our fingers that she'll keep to her promise of getting me a LV bag as my graduation present! ;)

After we snapped the pictures, she was like, "Don't forget to photoshop my wrinkles yaa!"
-_-

And my dress was really low cut that night; when I showed her the picture that we took on my (new) camera, she exclaimed "Aiyo, your boob jumped out ar!"
-_____-

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Jing and I, who unintentionally wore the same color scheme.

Yes, my dear, you were exceptionally strong in the airport! :) Although you failed when I had to leave for the boarding hall, despite my repeated protests for you to not cry, 'cause we would just end up crying together... :) Don't shop so much laarr!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

And my sweetheart, who just threatened to buy me a heart-shaped rice cooker with pink frills.

Am going to blog about my Harry Potter dress-up day tomorrow! :P

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So, I am back.

I admit, one small part of me expected to... see you at the airport with luggage in hand to fly off to Melbourne with me or something like that. 'Cause it seems like something that you would do, what with all your constant surprises.

Like how you pakat with my sister and mom on the morning that I came back to KL that they were supposed to fetch me 'cause you have to work, but actually you were the one to greet me with your trademark hugs and kisses. :)
Though it sort of backfired 'cause you couldn't find me, and instead of you finding me and surprising me by hugging me from behind, I spotted you and had to wave and shout to get your attention. -__-
And how you almost hugged a old granny because of my sister's tip-off that I was wearing a purple dress (when actually I wore yellow). -_______-

Or how you lied to me that you were starting your new job, and asked me to meet you for lunch on your first day of work, and when I spun around after locking my house gate, I saw you grinning at me in your car-- you delayed starting work by 2 weeks so that we could spend 2 weeks of undiluted time together. :)

But alas, dreams are dreams, wishes are wishes, and goodbyes were the reality.

Thank you, bee, for coming to the airport today, even though you could only see me for 15 minutes before you have to rush off for work.

But I am proud of myself. :)
When you told me gently right before you left, that I mustn't be a crybaby and that I cannot cry, I could still joke and flex my muscles and tell you, "Of course, I am strooong!!"
And when we gave each other lingering kisses right in front of the elevator where we had to part so that you could go to the carpark, I could still tell you, "Finally! My turn to send you off!"

I did cry, of course, when you called me while I was in the departure hall, but you couldn't tell, could you? 'Cause I was frantically dabbing at my tears while taking silent deep breathes so you couldn't tell that I was tearing. I cried in the plane too! But for a very short while. I think you would be proud too. :)

The only reason why I could be so much stronger this time is 'cause this is it, isn't it, baby?
The final goodbye. :)

We are not separated by thousands of miles or continents; we are just separated by 5 months.
And we could always cross our fingers mighty tight that you could visit soon right! =)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
'Cause the bimbo in me likes how our outfits matched. ;)

And until then, I miss you so painfully, and my heart is with you; always, all the time. :)

Accio Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!

*edit*

Oh my god oh my god, I am so excited that I am hyperventilating that I am bouncing on my seat that I am practically foaming at my mouth!!!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

THE LONG AWAITED MOMENT!
After almost a decade of being a Potter fan, THE FINAL BOOK IS FINALLY OUT.
Oh my goodnesssssss.

Jing and I are going to queue up for the launch of the book tomorrow! At 7.01am k. And we are going to dress up too. It might be a tad embarrassing, but our love for Harry Potter conquers all wtf.

A glimpse of tomorrow:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Expelliarmus!
That's Fawkes the phoenix on her cloak by the way. Damn wtf right!!! :D

************************************

I have gotten the book!!! Sooooo happyyyyy!!!
And I am not going to have any contact with the outside world until I finish the book.
No radio, no newspapers, no blog-surfing, no MSN, no TV...
I am not kidding, there are some really weird characters who are out to spoil the ending of the book for dedicated readers like you and me.
For example, just the day before, I saw some fucker with Harry Potter spoiler lines as a nickname on MSN! FUCK YOU. I am telling you, ANYONE who spoils the last book for me is GOING TO DIE. A MILLION TIMES.
I will eat your flesh and spit out your bones.
GRRRR.

Okies, I am off to polish off the next chapter of my children copy of Harry Potter ('cause my sister bought the adult's copy wtf), sooooo excited! <3
