Genting!

I was at Genting over the weekend!
Terribly tiring, considering I only reached home on Friday night, and I was suffering a mini jet-lag.

Pictures pictures!

Photobucket
My sisters and I, in descending height order. T____T
Teeny, Jing, me.

Doing the love tango!

At Starbucks. And my dress which is very very tight at the chest area. Till I couldn't wear a bra with it. -_-

Can you believe it, our first ever Starbucks Encounter, was in the exact same franchise we were in, in Genting! :P

Poised for candid. -__-

Happy snowflakes, for christmas! :)

Teeny.

Err, the picture with Teeny is very very tiny, because she resized it to a wonky size!

Photobucket
Brother which is better known as Boy, Mommy wjho is reluctant to give me spending money, Jing who is saving up for hair extensions, a lethargic me, Teeny who started wearing gray contacts.

And my sisters, blessed their kind souls, are so protective over me.

Below is a picture of me and an unintended cleavage.

This is what it ended up to be.

Surprise!

... was the name of the day! :P

When I was young,

I dreamt of a tall, dark and handsome man,
who buys me dark chocolates and red roses,
and carries me over rain puddles.
He drives a ferrari,
and we go to Rome for picnics.
He sends me swishy tulle gowns in a box,
right before our candlelight dinner.
He loves pink, and he wears plaid,
and he wears a diamond stud in his ear too.
We will waltz in ballrooms,
and climb onto rooftops for passionate rendezvous.

So I got this lying on my bed to greet me when I stepped into my room. :)

Oh, and I got this one year ago for my welcome-home present...

What do I leave behind?

In exactly 12 hours' time, the plane would be taking off.
With me in it.

The last night in Melbourne, and what do I feel.

Excitement and anticipation; as usual, I miss the people back home.
A sense of relief, maybe? The past few weeks have been fun, but lonely at times.
Deep pangs of sadness... I don't want to leave.
Or do I?

I've foreseen that on this day, this night, the finale to my entire Melbourne adventure, I would be swallowed in a deep sea of emotions, huge pools of turmoil-- flinging me right to the deep end. Wallowing, threading, swimming in misery; weighing down because of my heavy heart.

But how would I have known, that I could feel this way. I feel so much, but yet I feel nothing.
A sense of numbness, maybe? Because saying goodbye was inevitable.
Or a stroke of denial.

Who knows.

To put my feelings into words, analyzing them, reaching in to put them on display seems like an insult what I feel. So I shan't even try.

These pictures are meaningful to me because they were part of our to-do list:

'Photoshoot' in Flinders Lane.

Graffiti lane.

I know it's not final. It's not as if I'll never come back.

But how do you just uproot yourself from a life that you've slowly but surely built up?
How do you say goodbye to a place that you've been starting to think of as home.
Now I understand why YC calls Melbourne her surrogate motherland.
My heart breaks because I am leaving memories behind, the people that I have grown to love so much, and can't imagine not seeing anymore. And I cry for the fact that I am leaving just a little bit of me here.

So I guess this is it, then.
A brave front. A silent sob, a lingering backwards glance, and a whispered goodbye.

Everyone, burst into songs!

I woke up at 5-ish am today for Boxing Day sales.
The things I do for my number 1 passion in life! :P

I AM SO DELIRIOUSLY HAPPY NOW!!!!

I just watched Enchanted, and it's SUCH a feel-good movie! :) :) :)
I was at the edge of my seat the whole time (don't know why, not thriller also!), with a gigantic smile plastered on my face...
And it's oh so funny! I think the theater was reverberating with my laughter the entire time! *shy*

I want to skip! And burst into songs! And hum! And whistle (I can't whistle, but who cares)! And leap into the air! And danceeeeee! :D :D :D

And I'm going to tell my dad I don't have to look for a job, 'cause I'll have a happy ending anyway!

HEEEEEEE.

Everyone deserves to live happily ever after! :)

PS: KL people! What are your NYE plans! I need ideas! Suggestions! Inspiration! I want a good place to coundown! :)

Letter to Santa.

**************************************************

Dear Santa,

I assure you, I have been a really, really good girl this year. I washed my own dishes, and I did my homework (after it's due, but really, that's irrelevant), and I always say my 'please' and 'thank you's. Therefore, I deserve a lot, a lot of presents this year!

Please bring all this stuff for the people in my life:

For daddy, please bring him a new car. I heard that Jing has crashed the Avanza, and mom has ran over a dog with the BMW.

For mommy, please bring her the elixir of youth, because she is nearing menopausal, and I think she is freaking out.

For grandpa, please bring him a new set of dentures. And a lot a lot of bak kut teh.

For grandma, please bring her a lifetime's supply of Oil of Olay, and erm, skinny jeans. I think it'd be funny to see her in it.

For the both of them, please bring them health and make them live forever.

For my sister, Jing, please bring her the Gucci Princey that she has been saving for ages, but never really did got to because she always end up using up the savings.

For my sister, Teeny, please give her an endless supply of MAC make-up and OPI nail polish because she likes playing with face (and nail) paint.

For my brother, please bring him whatever PSP or Xbox he has has eyes set on now. And oh, he will be going through puberty soon, please make sure he doesn't grow too much leg hair, it grosses me out.
But don't be totally bald as well, that is just gay.

For my maid, please bring her some sweet and sour pork, as she is always fighting for it with us during family dinners.

For my big dog, Lion, please bring it some painkillers, and probably a new leg, since mommy has ran over its hind leg.

For my small dog, Choppy, please bring it some intelligence. Fererro Roche is NOT to be eaten by dogs. What more with the wrapper intact.

And for my boyfriend, please bring him to the Old Trafford and see Manchester United play live in the stadium. Or, bring the entire team to him. Whichever he fancies.

And now about me! Please bring me all of the following:

1. Gucci Punch medium tote in white Guccissima leather.

<span class=
I couldnt't find a picture of it in white! :(

It's on sale now! From almost 2k, to slightly above 1k AUD. See, Santa, I am thrifty.

2. Ipod Nano.

<span class=

It depresses me so that everyone has an Ipod but ME. Make me happy, Santa. I promise I will spread cheerful melodies all over the world.

3. Lacoste shoes

<span class=

(I want it in white, thank you very much!)

I don't know why, I just like the shoes, but hell begone that I am going to pay 100++AUD for it.

4. Chanel sunnies.

<span class=

I really really really really want this! Santa, if you don't get this, I WILL.

5. A designer wallet.
<span class=

6. 'Return to Tiffany' heart tag pendant.

<span class=

I saw someone wearing it that day, and I like the way it looks! Very versatile.

7. Chanel svarovski studded earrings.

And the power to NOT lose earrings. T__T

8. To be able to dine at Tetsuya, one of the top restaurants in the world.
<span class=

9. When I chop chop chop my hair once I am home, and when I dye dye dye.. Please let it turn out well!

<span class=
I might be taking on one of the hairstyles here, guess which one! :P

10. Please let me lose weight easily once I am home! I am absolutely DEPRESSED now because I am fucking OBESED. :(

<span class=

Anyway, I have left out the Christmas stocking for you. Hope you like the Tim Tams that I have prepared for you-- they are my absolutely favorite! But tis' the season of giving after all.

And don't trip over my shopping bags!

PS: Please say hi to Rudolph!

With love,
Hui Wen

*****************************************************

Any other Christmas, I would most likely be in S'pore with my sisters and mom, tummy stuffed from the Coffee Club's fantabulous mud cake, and the room totally filled to the brim with shopping bags. But this year around, I am all alone, with my laptop for companionship. Everyone has their family with them, so I guess it's only natural that they will spend X'mas with their respective family members.

And that leaves me here.

Sigh.

<span class=

<span class=

<span class=

<span class=

<span class=

<span class=

<span class=

Anyway.

<span class=

I am determined to not be an uptight sullen grinch.

<span class=

I am gonna unleash the Christmas cheer in me! :D :D :D

<span class=

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Strawberry picking!

I was feeling slightly down for the past 2 days, because I have been just cooped up at home, without any human interaction. It's not so much that I was bored (hello, the internet works wonders), but I guess I was just... lonely.

Until a MSN chat with my sister yesterday, and I found out that because my dad bought a new PC with a 20-inch screen, she was wearing sunglasses while using the computer. Apparently the glare was too bright. -__________-

And my grandma and grandpa saw her and they had 'wtf???' looks. -_________________-

And my brother passed by the computer room, saw her and shook his head. -________________-

And that reminds me, that day when I webcam-ed with my sisters in the midnight, my sisters squealed in protest because they were in pajamas and had no make up on... Then they disappeared for awhile, and suddenly pop up with aviator sunnies on (so that I couldn't see their eyebags and eye circles).

And we chat while wearing sunglasses while making 'YO YO YO' motions all the way through, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

You tell me, with sohai sisters like that, how to not laugh until I die HAHAHAHAHA.

Oops, that reminds me, I better do up a belated birthday post for Teeny soon. I heard she is currently simpan dendam wtf.

***************************************

Lalala, I am in a friggin' random mood now, and I basically just opened My Pictures folder, and just select a folder to blog about.

Mornington, for strawberry-picking!

During our exam period, we had a list tagged in our living room, and we were supposed to write down things/places that we want to do/go after exams/before we leave Melbourne, and strawberry-picking was one of them, I think. :)

Photobucket
Sitting in the backseat, because I am too lazy to drive, and too stupid to navigate.

Photobucket
Road trip, YEAAA!

We rented a car. And we got lost! It took us almost 2 hours to get to the place. T____T

Photobucket
Sunny Ridge-- where all strawberries come true wtf.

Photobucket
Photobucket
Pretty view!

Photobucket
2 girls and 2 strawberries.

Photobucket
Strawberry fields!

I have no idea why, but it has never really occurred to me where do strawberries grow on. I mean, I know grapes grow on vines, apples grow on trees, pineapples on grounds, but strawberries always come with CREAM, you know?

Why am I so bimbo la... T___T

Photobucket
Strawberry pluckers.

Photobucket
I am young at heart!

Photobucket
The fruits of our labor. Literally.

Photobucket
My dear Jac, whom I miss immensely.
And whose room (which I am staying in now) resembles a mini warzone, heh.

Photobucket
Mey trying out for the part of one of the 3 Blind Mice WTF.

Photobucket
Why does my arm looks like it is a total of 2 inches long here.! T__T

Photobucket
We have cherries too! :)

Photobucket
Eh, you wait la, I can tie a knot with the cherry stalk.. *ambitious*

PhotobucketPhotobucket
Strawberry ice cream! Supposedly best in town.

Photobucket
It was so-so. I don't really have a thing for strawberry ice cream, although I used to LOVE it SO SO SO much, because of the color pink, hehe.

.
.
.
.
.
.

OK LA!
It is all scam. :(
We did go to the strawberry farm, but we didn't get to go strawberry-picking, because we got lost, and we missed the last strawberry-picking session! T___T
We bought all those strawberries we were eating, hahaha.

Photobucket

If you observe this picture carefully, the sign says NO ENTRY! We sneaked into the fields to take some pictures to create the illusion that we went into the fields! :P

It's damn shy to admit we went all the way to the farm, and didn't go strawberry picking mah! T____T

Anyway!

Photobucket

Strawberry outfit for the teapot.
So cute right!
